Easy, easy in your hair and great coverage. I colored my hair just two weeks ago with an amethyst hair color (not this products brand) and not only did it fry my hair. It stripped all of the color out of my hair and left it gray annd orange with bright purple roots. This product fixed all of those issues and left my hair feeling amazing. I could not be happier. In the photos below, the first picture was taken just before I colored my hair with the other brand and I did it just to cover my roots. The second photo was taken after coloring my hair with the other brand literally days later and the third photo was taken one day after using this product

It strips off some of the hair color and replaces it with a clear glossy sheen for a shiny look instead of adding peroxide to make it yellow. Is anyone tired of yellow hair? I am.

I had high hopes for this gloss but was disappointed. The shine boost is very subtle and barely noticeable on my hair, even after following the instructions carefully. It also felt a bit sticky and weighed my hair down instead of leaving it feeling soft and light. While it might work for very fine or color-treated hair, it did not deliver the results I expected. For the price, I expected a much more noticeable shine and smoothness. I would not repurchase.

Did not significantly improve shine, I would say maybe a 25% increase in shine. I did anticipate it making my hair a little smoother too, which it did not. The first photo was after and the second was before. Works in a pinch, but not comparable to salon quality!

I really liked how my hair turned out with this and the process to apply was easy, I am letting my hair go gray and it tamed my grays wonderfully. Will buy this again.

I had golden brown hair. Tortoise shell turned it bland red. I did not want red hair. Color on box image not accurate. It also made my hair dry. This two pack is non-refundable. Pros - Easy to apply. It will color your hair if applied as directed. It does provide shine. I will try smoky topaz over it to see if it reduces red. I hope it works because I think it’s a good price and overall a good product. Mainly annoyed photo on box is not accurate to how red the color “warms” hair

This is my first time using a semi permanent hair gloss that required two steps. I tried a couple of drugstore so-called glosses and they literally dried my hair out like straw, turned it an ugly dark mud brown despite what the container showed the color was supposed to be and made it duller than it was to begin with. Not this gloss! OMG! I've been searching for a product to help improve the condition of my hair while my body adjusts to coming off of prednisone which basically ruined all my hair and turned it into dry, brittle, dull straw. I followed the directions exactly and allowed it to sit on my hair for 20 minutes. I then lightly shampooed it and went from there. My hair actually feels like it did before I ever went on Prednisone! Even though I used the clear gloss, it still toned done all the brassiness out of my hair and turned it back to my natural deep, rich auburn. It was like it knew what my hair needed and automatically fixed it! I had hoped for it to make my hair shinier and healthier looking but this was a completely unexpected side benefit! I highly recommend Kristen Ess Signature gloss to ANYONE as long as you choose your correct color (if you decide not to choose the clear). After one use I am completely sold on this product and will continue to use it regularly!
