This flea comb is not good for removing fleas. The comb with a double row of teeth work. This comb, HOWEVER, is great for long haired dogs that shed. I used this comb on my son's lab and removed SO MUCH hair, he glistened after combing. He also loved being combed, he rolled over to have his whole body combed. The tips of the comb are not sharp so you don't have to worry about the comb being alittle scratchy. It gets 2 stars for not being good for it's intended use, but I'd give it 5 stars as a pet grooming, de-shedding comb.

I like my other one that is all metal, the plastic handle does not work as well.

The smaller comb with the shorter teeth works great if you have a short haired cat. My fluffy guy takes the bigger flea comb with the longer teeth like for a dog.

It is too small.I would like a little bigger and would be easier to use. It is made well
