Can i really use these for 1/4" thick mirror? i just do not see how they are adjustable from 1/8" to 1/4"..

The base of the clip will not sit flush to the surface when using on 1/4" thick and does sit flush for 1/8".

Can I use them to put a mirror on a wood door??

It can be install onto a wood door. If it is a hollow core door, you should use a plastic anchors along with mounting screws.
