Can’t rave enough on this set of casters. Built like a tank, perfect fit for my chair, glide smoothly and silently along a variety of surfaces… The only question you should ask yourself is why didn’t you purchase them sooner.

Installed these chair wheels as replacement for wheels that came with new desk chair. Very good wheel quality and floor protection. Rolls smoothly and quietly. No bumps. No need for floor protection mat. Will be rolling along my 8 foot work table.

Have only had them for a couple weeks, but so far I love these! They popped right in and roll so smooth and quite. Such a little change made such a difference in my everyday life. You may think you do not need new wheels, but you do. These things are luxurious.

These are the only office chair wheels I will buy! Always built super sturdy, go right in the OEM slots and lock in tight, and roll like melted butter on toast!

Using these instead of the hard black plastic casters that office chairs typically come with is night and day. My hair practically glides across the floor now. These casters can take a serious beating, and are easy to install (pop out the old ones, pop in these). I previously purchased these for an older office chair, so when I got a new one, it was a no-brainer to purchase these again to replace the rollers that came from the get-go. They're super quiet, look great, and can take a beating. The biggest challenge is that they can be a bit of a pain to clean if the rollers aren't maintained regularly enough to keep the joints from jamming. Just keep an eye out for that and don't ignore them for years at a time and you'll be fine.

I decided to try these due to my office chair being in a carpeted room, my office mat is all cracked and broken and honestly the wheels cost less then a new good mat, and while it is not perfect it's pros definitely outweigh its cons. Lets start with the cons first since that is shorter 1) While the wheels won't damage your carpet anywhere near the degree that traditional caster wheels do you are not going to be gliding across the carpet without a mat as such your chair without a mat will be a lot more stationary then with a mat. 2) The wheels are pressed in and not screwed in so if you damage the wheels you can not replace just the wheels like you can on say roller blades, like if you where hanging pictures in your office, dropped a nail without noticing it and ended up having the nail damage the wheel you have to replace the whole unite and not just the wheel. 3) Because these wheels are effectively roller blade wheels they have minimal wheel touching the ground and as such will sink into padded carpet more easily then traditional wheels (not a big con since they won't rip it up, but it does make rolling that much harder if you sink into the padding) And that wraps up the cons, told you it was a short list, now for the pros 1) The wheels will not tear up your carpet like traditional caster wheels do, I personally would still keep the rolling to a minimum but you won't have chunks of carpet getting stuck in the wheels 2) After about a minute or so of use allowing the grease to get throughout the bearings it rolls very smoothly. 3) While I would still suggest having a floor mat for carpet, with the wheels being bigger and with more clearance then traditional caster wheels it rolls extremely smooth even on my busted up broken floor mat, the same mat my old office chairs wheels would get stuck in and end up tearing up the carpet due to the cracked mat, it rolls over nice and smooth without and issues. 4) While it doesn't feel like it is made out of the most expensive parts in the world, it does feel like the metal and wheels are at least of a good quality, not the best possible, but the best that is needed for it's purpose, like I wouldn't use these wheels to go street skating, but they are perfectly acceptable for roller rink skating which is more then enough for an office chair unless your office is outside on the street on a road. All in all, these wheels won't be some magic answer to be able to roll across shag carpet without a floor mat, but they will work great on shorter carpets you would find in say an office and still be perfectly functional for mid length carpets you would find in most homes. If you are looking for some magic cure all to not needing a floor mat on medium length carpets, this won't be some magic elixer, But if you are looking at maybe the fact your floor mat is beat up and doesn't work well with traditional wheels any more and you don't want to spend $60 on a new floor mat these wheels will work great for exactly that purpose. (Plus if you are anything like me who will eat in their office while doing work I would suggest keeping that beat up floor mat just to help keep your carpets clean from any food spills anyways) All in all if you have realistic expectations these wheel really are better designed for not ripping chunks of carpet out, they feel to be decent quality, and they work much better then traditional office chair wheels. Just don't expect to be able to roll half way across the room on your shag carpet in your bedroom, definitely more for short to medium carpets and not long carpets. The only two reasons I am giving this a 4 instead of a 5 is because A the not being able to replace just the wheels if they get damaged despite being effectively roller blade wheels on a office chair wheel mount, and also because most people ignore the 1 and 5 star reviews because they often offer less insight as to the pros and cons of the product and so the review is more likely to be read if it isn't an extreme score of max or min, if possible I would put it at a 4.5 but Amazon doesn't allow you to do half stars.

The wheels roll really smoothly, I have them on an aeron chair at this point. Only thing is, they are not very giving in terms of changing direction, like forwards and backwards requires a little more coercion to allow movement as a result. They are very well built, and the roller balls are clearly shown and sturdy in terms of their mounting. For the promotional pricing I got them for, they are excellent. They also fit standard diameters easily. Good value.

Wow, I wish I had found these years ago. So much better than the cheap plastic chair wheels. They are quiet and easy to roll around on. They seem to protect the floor better as well.

I've just redesigned my home office with a lovely wooden floor and plush chair. I really didn't want to ruin the aesthetic with a plastic cover to protect the floor but was concerned about castors making marks. I found these by chance and thought I'd give them a try. Wow! I love everything about them. They're careful packaged and feel like quality items before they're even out of the box. They look super stylish, much smarter than castors and glide so smoothly leaving no trace on my beautiful floor. Whoever thought of this is a total genius. My chair feels like it's on roller skates, which is exactly what they are. I love them so much I've immediately ordered another set for my partners chair so he can do away with the awful plastic mat on the floor! Functionality: Straight swap for castors, takes seconds to do. Glides like roller skates. Floor protection: No marks on expensive floors.

Producto perfecto, he cambiado las ruedas de mi silla de oficina y son perfectas. Tal y como indicaban en la descripción. Lo único es que la silla se mueve mucho más rápido al tener menos rozamiento y al principio se hace raro pero una vez te acostumbras es una gozada ya que te desplazas sin esfuerzo y no deja marcas en el suelo de madera. Si lo sé las habría cambiado antes
