Although rare, it is possible for a prong collar to come undone and fall off of the dog while in use. Attach the shorter snap to the prong collar and the second longer snap to your dog's flat collar or harness, functionally giving you two attachment points to your dog. It's also good for those Houdini dogs that somehow come out of their collar or harness.

Great quality leash for prong collars
We previously used a caribeener to connect the prong collar & flat collar. This led to uneven pulling between collars, it would get stuck and twisted, and overall wasn't a great setup. This dual clasp leash is so much better. The shorter length connects to the prong, and the longer of the 2 connects to his flat collar solely as a safety backup- it does not apply any pressure. I love the design of the clasps, which operate smoothly and securely. I purchased the double-handle option, because we walk in crowded areas and I keep him close by my side. The leather appears strong and of good quality. I searched everywhere for a leash like this and am really happy with the purchase.

Finally a Secure Leash
I use a prong collar on a 110 pound dog and was connecting to regular collar with a small connector that has clasps on each end. It worked but this leash with asymmetrical double clasps is so much better. I love the comfort handle and the ease of attaching to regular collar with the longer safety clasp. All secure now.

Excellent for two collars! Well made and sturdy
I love this leash! It’s very well-made and exactly what I was hoping for. If I had any complaints it would be that I would like it to be a tad bit longer but I don’t think that’s the point of this leash so it is perfect!!! I use it with my prong collar and fur saver, excellent excellent! Would buy again.

Excellent double safety leash
My dog is an escape artist and tries to wiggle out of her harness when she gets hyper. The double clips gives me the security to be able to walk my dog without the fear of losing her. The clips are very strong. Very well made leash.

Well made, quality leash
Excellent leash. Very strong for my crazy lab mix puppy. He’s a puller and one day his prong collar opened up and he was loose. I almost had a heart attack. This leash is perfect. I feel safe walking him again.
