I have lymphedema in my legs and wanted to increase the resistance while walking in the pool. They are perfect and definitely do the job. I have used them for a whole season with no complaints and they still look new. I also tried them at the local pool in the deep end jogging and again pretty amazing. The resistance is based on your speed.

I used these in therapy and had to get a pair. I chose the more resistant ones, for I can remove the wings if necessary. They were great in the water, and yes as some have said, they do turn,, but they all turn on the leg because of water resistance and not from manufactoring....I have used many during water therapy at the gym and they are all the same. As far as therapy, they are a great product and well made and good to use for exercise. I highly recommend them.
