Great alternative to the metal blades
I love my flipper in every way other than the metal blades that will rust if not removed from the tank and dried off when not in use which is why I ordered the plastic version. These do not remove coralline algae nearly as well as the metal blades as one would expect and are nicked up pretty quickly when attempting to do so. That said, they do not rust so are a great alternative for those of us that leave our cleaners in the tank rather than removing every time. This is pretty much the reason for the flipper in my opinion so although not 100% happy with the plastic blades, they do work. Would definitely recommend these for those that are have the same rust issue that I am having but be prepared to burn through these pretty quickly.

If you have a tank you need this. Buy it bc you will not have to replace anything but blades. You can also sharper them for a little extra use.

Junk
Junk, these used to have a straight edge instead of this serrated edge, these serrated edge blades make cleaning super slow. Would have been nice to know they were going to change the design to be useless before spending the rediculous amount they wanted for the flipper.

Thought it wouldn’t work
When it got here I saw it was plastic and wanted to return it but I gave it a try and it works great!

Will still scratch
I only use these to get off the hard to get algae. Even still, I will probably stop using these at all as they will still scratch your acrylic tank. Better to use a sponge.
