On a sturdiness scale 1-10. 10 being sturdy I’d have to say maybe 7/8. I would recommend screwing into the studs or buying better wall anchors as it does have a little bit of weight to it and I’ve read reviews of it falling out the wall. Some added brackets and that’s probably a good idea underneath. I plan to keep mine unfolded like a bar top. When it’s unfolded it does have room to move quite a bit if bumped but it’s not terrible. Pretty much expected. Another thing I dislike is the latch. It’s not strong enough for the desk to fold out. It’s loose and it bends so I would recommended just getting a more sturdy latch from the hardware store if you’re putting this in a kids room and anticipate folding and unfolding a lot. Assembly was moderate. Nothing as bad as ikea but similar in a sense. I did have chips in my wood but it’s cheap wood so you get what you pay for. Haven’t tried out the chalk board yet. I did end up not using the wine glass holders at the top and removing them to my shelves next to it because in order for the glasses to hang appropriately they have to be really short and small. Overall I would recommend this project but it will take a few extra kinks to work to your liking. I did find it’s the only tall fold out desk of its kind so far which caught my eye. Also this particular listing was cheaper and arrived in record timing compared to other listings. It does the job as a makeshift bar area for our game room so I can’t complain. Very cute and sleek idea. Quality could be upgraded to make it an overall A plus project but it’s functional.

My in-law unit is less then 300 square feet so it is impossible to have dinner table and desk. This foldable furniture met all my needs. When I invited 2 friends come over, it is big enough to for 3 of us having dinner.

The media could not be loaded. Took about an hour and a half to assemble all together and hang. Measuring for hanging was definitely the hardest part. It assembled similar to IKEA furniture! I love it has a standing desk that does not take up a lot of room. Definitely worth the price

The item was very sturdy but I missed return deadline!!! Wood cracked as soon as the item was installed!!

When assembled there is a 1/4 inch gap where the clips to hook the cabinet up should sit flush with the wall and are instead set too deep. Not too hard to fix i have the knowledge but an inconvenience for sure.

You can have a small table when needed and space when not.

Worked out perfect fir what I wanted. Did add L brackets at the bottom to secure it to the wall more
