I have used this thread for over 40 years and it has never disappoint .
I like the sheen, strength, and smoothness of the DMC thread . I make baby booties for family and friends for their new born children .

Gives a crisp effect, setting off the pattern very well.
I have not yet started using these items yet but I bought them because they offered a very good price for a product I have used in the past and liked very much. Cebelia gives a crisp finish to the created item, which is an effect I like. Having put the effort in, I am looking for a reward in the finished item. I encountered it first in a book called 'Romantic Crochet' by Rhoda Robertson, which offers very attractive designs in fine crochet.

Nice, pretty crochet cotton
I really like this DMC Cebelia Crochet Cotton. It's easy to work with, and I'm just getting back to crocheting with a thin cotton rather than yarn, so I'm having to practice a bit to get back in the habit. It used to be that I could crochet any pattern given to me, but time and taking up cross-stitch took care of that! I like the sheen or lustre of this thread, so it should work up well into a lace border.
