We use lots of different types of room fresheners (plug-ins, diffusers etc), as well as scented candles. Often, a big problem with candles, is that they don’t always burn very cleanly, and hardly ever evenly as well. This means you can end up throwing half of it away, because it has tunnelled, especially if you don’t have it burning for long periods at a time. This candle is a natural soy wax candle, a type becoming more popular, which is wholly different.Being Soy wax, the candle burns cleanly, without smoke or black deposits etc. The fragrance, whilst certainly pleasant, isn’t particularly discernible unless you put your nose very close to it (not advisable when lit!), even after having been lit a couple of hours. Normally candle fragrances are strong before lighting, but not quite as much when lit. This one isn’t that strong before lighting, either. The candle does burns evenly though, and is quite attractive.This is a nice candle, not overly big (but promises to provide 33 hours burning time) The candle has a decent fitting lid to cap off after use, for peace of mind.Overall, a nice candle that burns clean and evenly, but with a (albeit pleasant) fragrance that is very weak. A little pricey perhaps too.I hope this is helpful.

I am a big candle fan. In any one day I can have candles burning in my kitchen, sitting room, conservatory, bathroom and bedroom.. oh Yh my sons likes to have one burning in his room too.When this arrived I thought it was quite expensive. On burning this candle I realise it’s worth the money.Made of soy wax you can see the fine details in how this is made. The candle sits nicely in the lid protective whatever surface it is placed on while burning.The smell which is nice and subtle isn’t too strong so ideal for a smaller room.

I liked the scent of this candle, which was unusual - smelling of herbs and woods rather than the usual sweet floral scents. The scent of both sage and cedar came through, but was subtle - you really need to be sitting near it to truly appreciate it, or in a fairly small room. The candle isn't cheap, but it's a very nice scent, the candle is attractively packaged in a silvery metal tin with a lid, and it would make a nice gift - perhaps as a Secret Santa or a "thank you for having me". Sage is also, in folklore, associated with clearing bad atmospheres or "vibes" - so it's a nice positive purchase if you've been having a hard time lately!

This is a superior scented candle in a tin. It measures 3 inches diameter and is 1.5 inches deep so it's a reasonable size and should burn for quite a long time. The scent is sage and cedar which I love as it's a nice woody smell. There are little bits (of presumably sage and cedar) melted within the wax. I found that it has a lovely smell and, although subtle, is pleasant and refreshing. The candle would make a lovely gift and is reasonably priced at just under £10. I was pleased at first that it didn't come in a plastic bag, but unfortunately there's plastic foam packaging around it to protect it, so not completely natural.

This sage and cedar candle comes in a palm-sized metal tin. I am not a fan of strong smelling candles so was nicely surprised when opening the lid that it was a light scent. Pieces of cedar and sage are clearly visible in the wax and the wick was easy to light.I didn't notice the aroma until I left the room and returned. It is very light, calming and much preferred over a lot of candles which are so strong they have to be put out quick.£9.99 is not a bad price, maybe a touch high but if you want a light, and calming scent, you can't go wrong with this.

Horrible

If you ever did the soaring at Disney, the video was at one part above trees/forrest and the smell was amazing. That is very similar to what this is like.We are super stressed out right now and this, I popped on whilst in bed reading. I felt nice and relaxed, maybe the memories of better times, maybe the oils they use in this. It does say on it meditation so I think it is infused to aid relaxation.I like it so much I bought another one, hopefully here soon. £10 and for something that helps you unwind, worth every penny. xxx
