I have had this installed for 10 months and it has not fallen off. This was easy to attach, there is a lip so the soap doesn't slip out of it. It is a little bulky.

For those who like to use their own bar of soap these are great! Holds bar up, allows it to dry, easy to clean, looks clean.

I love the look of this and it is the perfect size and shape for the hand-made soaps I purchase. The only drawback is cleaning. I thought that the bamboo part came out but it is glued in. Otherwise, it's still beautiful and a great product.

Reviewed after many months of use. First off make sure you know the size holder you need for your favorite bar soap before ordering. This isn’t the biggest holder and due to its design where the soap sits inside of the holder/dish it may not be large enough for your needs. Beyond that it looks decent and I’ve not had any issues with the plastic case cracking or the wood separating. The biggest problem I have with it is that it is not easy to clean. There is no drain hole on the bottom as I’m guessing it’s really more for countertop than in a shower use. Because of this every time you shower moisture gets in the holder even if you’re not using the bar of soap. When using the soap even after rinsing it off well before putting it back it still melts a bit onto the wood. Cleaning it can be quite a pain too. Soap residue can make the wood insert stick to the dish quite tightly and then you’re left with getting rid of the gunk off all of the various segments of wood as well as what’s gummed up in the dish. And this is just from using a relatively small beard soap cube in it. Even if used on countertop you’ll still end up with a similar issue of the soap residue collecting in the bottom contacting both the plastic and wood. So unless you are good with cleaning this out every week or two I’d go a different route. If you need a holder specifically for the shower I’d again go another route. The bottom line for me is I liked the design and look, it does hold soap ok, but the cleanup on it just makes it more hassle than it’s worth. Because if this I’d not purchase one again. You’re just better off going for a silicone, plastic or acrylic holder which will allow water and some of the soap to drain away and is much easier to clean. I finally just got over the cleanup and bought a soft silicone one. I hope this review from actual experience helped.

Container breakable. Since Shampoo & conditioner are ordered together; would nice to see pricing should offer stackable of 2 bars. Price too much money.
