Value option for discreet ceiling mounted curtains
My tiny house (400sq ft) has 2 rooms: kitchen/eating area and living/bedroom. I wanted to visually separate my queen bed from the living area and had existing silk drapes that I wanted to reuse. I looked at the Ikea track thing but wasn’t sure those sizes would work and honestly found it all confusing. This track looked like it would fit the bill, plus free shipping, etc.I unrolled it, heated it with a hairdryer as other reviewers suggested, and left it weighted down for a coupla days before attempting to install. I had to cut a piece off for my needs then used anchors to install. Installation was pretty straightforward. Everything needed for install (except tools) was included.Though I keep the curtains closed most of the time, they glide easily when I need to open/close. Also, these drapes are pretty heavy so they weigh the hooks down a bit which exposes the track. If you have lighter drapes, you may be able to hang the hooks so that your track is totally covered. That said, my ceiling is also white so the track kinda blends in. I don’t mind it showing.I’m super happy with this product as it totally worked as my room divider. Would recommend for this particular use or anytime you need a ceiling-mounted curtain track.

Worth the effort
Not exactly 'easy' to install, but it was kind of a fun project. The track comes tightly wrapped up so you have to bend it slowly into whatever shape you need it to be. Use something heavy to hold it in place until it's the shape you want. You'll want a stud finder and step ladder. Mark your studs and attach the brackets, then the track snaps into the brackets. Badda bing badda boom, curtains. It's a good product. Seems sturdy. Gliders run smoothly. (I did leave a couple of the gliders off that seemed like they didn't want to glide as smoothly as the others though. It comes with plenty of them and nice strong hooks to attach your curtains.)

Get's the job done
Bought this (16ft track) to hold an impact panel for my in-home golf launch monitor/simulator studio. The impact panel is pretty hefty; weighing around 15-20 lbs. The DartAnt specs indicated it should be more than capable of handling the weight of the panel, and it absolutely works for my application.Came well packaged with decent instructions. A little bit annoying to unroll it. I went the reverse bend route, and then laid it flat for a couple days with some weights on it. Still, like the instructions say, don't expect it to be even close to perfectly flat/straight.Even when you attach it to the ceiling, odds are it'll still be a little wavy in some spots. But I'm OK with that, as being able to lay it out in a non-linear fashion is well worth the tradeoff. The clips that retain the track are pretty robust. From the photos, I was thinking they'd be plastic. Was pleasantly surprised they're mostly metal. With the exception of the spring loaded retention tab being plastic. The springs in the tab are very strong. So they take a little force to move. But this is also fine, as the tradeoff is they retain the track very securely. I do however wish they shipped the track with a few more of the clips (maybe 20 instead of the 15).My only "gripe" is the anchors. They're just the cheap, run-of-the-mill plastic ones that really aren't all that secure. While they might work in very light duty applications, I wouldn't trust them for much else. Have seen plenty pull out of walls with very little force.Given the above, I tossed the ones that came with it. And instead went with Toggler Snap Toggle anchors. The toggler anchors are the best of the best. Rated to well over 100 lbs of pull out force per anchor. The downside is that the 1/4"-20 machine screws for the toggler anchors were too big to fit through the screw hole in the clip. So I had to drill out each hole with a step bit to accommodate the larger screws. Worked just fine. And was worth it. But it would be nice if they designed this to work with better anchors.Installation was a little tricky for one person. Definitely would recommend you enlist a second set of hands if you can. But one person can do it by themselves if needed. I propped up one end of the track on a ladder. And then worked my way from the opposite end. Not ideal. But it worked out just fine.Overall, I'd say this is a great product for the price. Just hoping it holds up well over time.

Hard to straighten out
When I ordered this, I was unsure of the exact way I would be using it. This one was flexible and therefore more versatile. It is also one piece so it would have no joints. I ended up installing it in a straight line, not a curve. It is a good quality product-very well made. But I couldn't get the tightly-coiled end to straighten out, even with heavy objects on it for 2 days prior to installation. My recommendation is to use this product for curved installations, but for straight-line uses, straight pieces would probably work better, even if you end up with joints.

Perfect
I got this to separate my office area off from the rest of my bedroom. Without putting anything permanent or structural there. It glides so smoothly and was simple enough that I got it up all by myself, even though my husband was determined to help me lol.

Couldn't get the track completely straight
Pros: the glide is super smooth and quiet, I really liked how well the gliders worked!Cons: it was really difficult to install this in our ceiling. We struggled to keep the track straight as we went across the ceiling and failed lol our line was more of a squiggle. The first anchor was the hardest, it kept coming out as we went across and we eventually had to have someone hold it down so that we could continue. If I had to do it again I would have gotten more people to help hold the track in place and I would have clipped the anchors onto the track first and slid them across the track into place as we went across the celing (the instructions have you install the anchors first and then clip the track onto it but we found that caused them to pop up at the ends).

Needed some time to flatten out but good and sturdy
After reading the reviews, I flattened the rail on the floor after soaking it in hot water. I left it weighted down for two days and I mounted it with long drywall screws into the ceiling joists. Works good with the heavy curtains I mounted for a sound studio.
