How often do users have to replace the mop 'pad', and how much is it? I cannot find the right replacement pad here.

Yes the pads are washable. I wash it on hot with my other cleaning towels and used bleach, then the hot dryer and I have had no problems. Love this thing!

How does it work on laminate flooring?

I would not use such a product on laminates, but if you have a high quality newer laminate floor you might try it out on an inconspicuous area. Most older laminates just won’t stand up to steam cleaning, tending to bubble up (separate) at the edges.

Can you turn the pad over to use both sides?

You can use both sides of the pad when it is on the frame, you cannot take it off the frame and flip it. The pads wash up nicely in the washing machine so you can get a lot of life out of a pad.
