Q: Will this work on ps5 to upload games for storage? i hear alot from community that no external drive is compatable with ps5..

Sony. - SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps or later. 250 GB minimum, 8 TB maximum capacity. - Not all devices are guaranteed to work with the PS5 console. - You can't connect the drive through a USB hub. - Two or more USB extended storage drives can’t be connected at the same time. You can connect multiple USB drives to your console, but you can use only one at a time. The following SuperSpeed USB connections are supported on PS5 consoles: SuperSpeed USB 5 Gbps (USB 3.0/USB 3.1 Gen1/USB 3.2 Gen1) SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen2/USB 3.2 Gen2/USB 3.2 Gen1x2) SuperSpeed USB 20 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen2x2) A recent PS5 update allows for storing but not playing your PS5 games on an external drive. Only PS4 games can be played on the PS5 directly from the external drive. An SSD is recommended for loading times. This drive is overkill because transfer rates seem to be capped. Grab the WD T5 or wait for Sony to unlock the internal M.2 NVME expansion slot.

Q: Can this device be used to off load files from a digital camera in the field?

Well it can be used to download and upload files from my samsung mobile phone, so I assume it may very well be possible to do the same with a camera

I believe it should. Mine came with a USB-C (thunderbolt 3) connector on the cable, and a USB-C to USB-A adapter (which I use with my 2015 MBP).

That's more up to adobe fill & sign or samsung notes or other thing. If each of those things allow that, and the device is compatible with the drive setup, then yes.
