Excellent quality, good grip, can change angle of grabber head, lightweight construction, convenient!! Note that ONLY grabber "head" is aluminum, not handle and bar, however it's so sturdy that this should not be a problem.

We have had 'grabber" tools for years, but with an upcoming surgery we needed something shorter for grabbing closer items while recovering and not able to reach/bend. This little grabber fits the need perfectly. The trigger device works easily and the unit is sturdy and convenient. While it is already small, it will easily fold in half for storage. This unit is a very nice complement to the larger/longer grabber we use for top shelf or under the bed items.

This one a short and easy to use. I've had others that were a little bit longer and very awkward.

I bought this grabber because I needed something to reach behind my torso and grab the bottom of my pullover shirts when getting out of a pool or hot tub. I use a hot tub for my arthritis and when I get out, my back is wet of course. Even after drying it, it is damp and I just cannot get a pullover shirt down my back. It bunches up and drives me nuts. So, I bought this grabber to grab the bottom of the shirt and pull it down. Unfortunately, the grabber is not meant to slide under a damp shirt and grab cloth. The tips are too fat and rubbery. Fortunately, once I filed the rubber down to make it thinner and easier to slide under a shirt, it worked fine. Maybe I am unique in this need or maybe not, but no one else seems to make a thin-tipped grabber, so ...

I give this item 5 stars even though only 4 stars worked. This is a handy little grabber in a 19 inch length which is harder to find. I keep it hanging on my walker. I'm short and It is much easier to use than my long reacher which is awkward when trying to bring an item to my hand. This reacher is the perfect length to tranfer an item without dropping it. It folds in half via a stretch cord making it easy to stow away. The ends are pliable and texured. One end also has a small magnet which comes in handy. It also has a small ring on the handle to hang it up. The handle is comfortable and easy to operate. I recommend this product.

SHORTER GRABBER is EASIER to USE for me (most of the Time)

I've been using the RMS brand grabbers (that I bought on Amazon) for more than 5 years. They are truly the gold standard. But unfortunately, I broke the shorter, 19 in. version and needed a replacement. Unfortunately, RMS only includes it in a 2-pack with the longer one. So I tried this model. Not even close. Sometimes I drop my cell phone and the slick plastic used on the grip head allows the object to slide through. It's not just items like cell phones. I've had books slide through and the book is lighter than the phone. The manufacturer needs to trade this plastic for one the provides better grip. The mechanics of the gripper seem fine. It's just the plastic used to line the gripper.

loves them I am in an electric wheelchair and they are great for picking things out of the cupboard and fridge and more. It is very sturdy as I use it all the time and I lift heavy stuff with it as well as light It is very handy and help me to be more independent

this product is great. I had hip surgery n it helped pulling on my clothes cause i couldn't bend to far n for reaching higher things

Sometimes the regular grabbers are just too long and this grabber fills that need. The grip is a little weak but works fine for picking up laundry items and similar. Great for wheelchair and walker users.
