Great knife, case made for loose fitted boot.
The knife itself is actually good quality for the price, full tang, it's pointy and comes sharp. The grip fits nicely and it's easy to conceal. My recommendation would be if you plan to have it inside the boot with the clip facing out, probably will need loose fitting boots. Also the case is nice and hard, and the clip can be switched out for a belt strap included. The only thing about this is it snaps into place and while it seems sturdy, the snaps on the side opposite the clip protrude a bit and if too tight will rub against the ankle.

quality feeling, some issues. worth it for price
Good: Knife itself feels high quality. Is just the right size for a stable grip and good conceal-ability. Full tang, good looking finish. Sheath feels high quality and holds tight. Eh: Knife had a decent point, but was not very sharp. For the intended purpose it would be effective enough I suppose but if you're into a sharp knife you'll need to put in some work. Also note I tried running it through my manual V sharpener a couple times and ruined whatever edge it had so I'll be trying a stone soon. Issues: Belt clip attachment seems to be much weaker than sheath hold on blade. Meaning while using the belt clip I could not draw the knife without removing the entire sheath with it. Does work fine with belt loop attachment but I find it rides a good bit too high and does not have adjustment on this.. then again for the price you shouldn't really be expecting that.

The blade is a full tang and the handle feels comfortable in my hand
I was looking for a small, concealable boot knife at a reasonable price and I have to say this met that criteria. The blade is a full tang and the handle feels comfortable in my hand. The blade did have decent edges on it, but I honed them to razor sharp so we'll see how long that will last. The holster is good for the price, the belt loop broke immediately but the knife clicks nicely into the hard shell. It does have a snap on backing that you can use with a belt or an ankle strap, but for now it works well on my belt with the blade inverted for an easier draw. It is a small knife, but I just wanted a good and concealable fixed blade knife and this works well for me. It shipped fast and showed up as described, I have no real discouraging complaints and it's Definitely worth the money!

Good ergonomic design but flawed in some respects
While the point was sharp the edges were almost dull and one of the 2 knives I bought had an uneven grind. Yes, the price is low, but really...If you need this little dagger in an emergency, you should hope than the danger; whether man or beast; is slow moving. It takes quite a tug to pull it out of the sheath. Somewhat better with inverted hilt down carry, but still hardly the smooth, quick draw necessary for a hideout weapon. There are a number of better mini-knives out there, especially if you're willing to spend a few dollars more.

Great Materials, Terrible Execution
This knife came with the dullest edge ever. It was literally as dull as a butter knife. It appears there was an attempt to put a convex edge of about 60 degrees, which is more like a machete than a boot knife. Even that was a giant fail, because it was uselessly dull. After about an hour of grinding away with my trusty Lansky system, I finally got a usable edge (barely). Well, I guess that says something for the hardness of the blade steel, but I don't have a Work Sharp system (on my Christmas list), so I'm going to have to grind away at it again when I'm bored over the winter. The knife is full tang, and it is quite a thick piece of metal for this size knife. However the scales don't match the profile of the metal, and they are uneven all around. The scales protrude out beyond the metal, and it just looks and feels like a $5 drug store knife. Very cheap, terrible workmanship. Now for the sheath. It's a bad attempt to supply us with a good product, but another fail. It comes with 2 snap-on options, a hard plastic belt clip and a nylon mesh belt/strap loop. It's also designed to be a neck knife. It fails on all of these. The knife doesn't fit securely enough to be a neck knife - it just falls out when hanging tip up. Others are complaining that it holds too tightly, but mine just falls out. There are 2 plastic buttons inside the knife, that fit into a hole in the base of the blade - that's the only thing holding the knife in the sheath, and mine just sheared off when I pulled the knife out the first time; it's inevitable that this will happen to everyone, so those complaining about it being too difficult to remove the knife: just work it in and out a bunch of times, and eventually those buttons will shear off. And the loop/clip combo sits too low on the sheath to be stable: the handle of the knife is quite heavy, so when mounted tip down, the knife tends to flop around. The materials used on both knife and sheath are very good quality, which is why it's so disappointing that the workmanship of the blade and the design of the sheath are so incredibly bad. The idea was great, but then it got turned over to a complete rookie for a terrible execution. If I saw this knife in a store, I wouldn't pay more than $7-8 for it. and likely pass on it even at that price. Considering the world-class terrible workmanship on this knife, it is WAY overpriced at $18 (what I paid for it).
