In my experience this part needs to be replaced every few years in older Gerber/Danze faucets but is almost impossible to find at plumbing stores. I was delighted to discover it on Amazon because the faucet would otherwise have had to be replaced.

OMG! Just the item I needed.
My faucet had major hammering and pressure issues from the faucet. The little sprayer worked perfectly but the hammering when it returned to the faucet was loud and annoying. Who would have thought a $9 part was all that was needed. Much cheaper than replacing a $600 faucet or the $50 hot/cold cartridge

Works like new!
This piece is a weak point of the Danze faucet I have. Luckily it's not expensive. This replacement works as well as the original. A bit of a chore to replace if you haven't taken your faucet apart before.
