FIRST OF ALL THIS VIDEO GAME IS FOR ADULTS ONLY! I PLAYED "BLITZ I" AND ENJOYED IT, AND I HAVE RECENTLY FINISHED AND ENJOYED "BLITZ II" ..... GRAPHICS AND SOUND ARE GREAT, AND OVERALL THIS SEQUEL GAME IS THE SAME AS "BLITZ I". I DIDN'T LIKE THE "SURE SOUNDS ALOT LIKE MADDEN" STUPID COMMENTARY AND TURNED IT OFF, WHICH TURNED OFF THE MAIN "PLAY BY PLAY", WHICH I DID MISS! IT SEEMED LIKE THERE WERE TO MANY INJURIES HAPPENING ON JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER PLAY, WHICH BROKE THE CONCENTRATION OF MY GAME PLAY, AND BECAME A FRUSTRATION. ANOTHER FRUSTRATION, RESETTING SHOULDER SEPERATION INJURIES AND THE SUCH ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO SNAP BACK INTO PLACE, AND MY KEY PLAYERS WERE ALWAYS OUT FOR 10 PLAYS! I FOUND THIS GAME (AS BLITZ I) TO BE CHALLENGING IN FIGURING OUT THE KEY PLAYS TO BEAT MY OPPONENT FROM THE GAME PLAY SELECTION, ESPECIALLY AT "DIVISION 1" LEVEL. I COMPLETED THIS GAME AND I'M PLAYING IT AGAIN, AND IT IS NO EASIER THE SECOND TIME AROUND!! HEY, IT'S NO RULES, NO PENALTIES BACK STREET ANYTHING GOES FOOTBALL FORMED INTO A LEAGUE RUN BY CROOKED OWNERS AND NASTY CHEAP SHOT FOOTBALL PLAYERS LIKE STAR LINEBACKER "BRUNO BATTAGLIA" OF THE L.A. RIOT, WHAT ELSE COULD YOU ASK FOR! FIX THESE PROBLEMS I HAVE MENTIONED, AND I WOULD GIVE THIS VIDEO GAME A 5 STAR RATING! OVERALL, GIVE YOUR "MADDEN NFL GAMES" TO YOUR TEENAGERS, AND ENJOY SOME "ADULT AND RAW FOOTBALL" FOR A CHANGE! ONCE YOU ARE SET UP WITH YOUR OWN TEAM, IT'S TIME TO GET OUT THERE ON THE FIELD AND "WIN AT ANY COST!" I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO "BLITZ III", SO BRING IT ON !!!

First off the game is outstanding. This game beats any madden game out there. Thats my opinion but its true to me. The graphics are not the best but are really good for the kind of game it is. The campaign is not all that great but still really exiciting. Its even better if you get an undefeated streak like me. Anyway the injuries are really cool. Way better than the first, they are way more realistic than just a bone cracking or a little picture of a torn ACL, but when you do something cool and you want to see it again the replay it isn't always the same thing but most of time it is. I'd highly recommend this game as a good choice of a hardcore football game. :)

Blitz: The League II is a much simpler and far less technical version of football compared to Madden. I like the game for what it is, which is to say that it is very fun to play and quite funny. The sexual inuendo, the suggestive themes, and the cheating/use of drugs is a cool and hard-edged alternative to the clean & proper Madden series. This is not a game that youngsters should play; and if you hate cheating AI (especially in campaign mode) then you might want to give this game a pass. I'm just a guy who likes my football any way I can get it. I play both Madden and Blitz II on a reguler basis and plan to do so for the foreseeable future.

I read the reviews for this game and they seemed SOOOOO positive about Blitz II that I thought I would try it. Number one, if you want authentic football, this is NOT the game for you. Stupid injuries, like kick returners having their spleen ruptured, are all too common. This game is totally unrealistic and focuses on the injuries of the players rather than clear, concise play-call menus and AI for DBs so that you can actually DEFEND passes. I guess that's why it's called Blitz; because you'll constantly be throwing it and the only real drama is whether or not a QB is gonna get injured, rather than whether or not the pass will be caught, cause it will. I mean, there are collar tackles and all kinds of illegal actions that are supposed to damage players, which really isn't the point of football at all. If you enjoy football for what it is; a chess-match of defensive vs offensive schemes, this is not for you. If you like the Saw movies for the death scenes and are accustomed to really bad graphics, this will be right up your alley.

I love this game !!! Every thing that you can not do in MADDEN FOOTBALL you can do in this game.BLITZ THE LEAGUE 11 makes MADDEN FOOTBALL feel like I am watching grass grow. I still like MADDEN FOOTBALL but I do like putting other players in pain!!!

As advertised and everything works great! Forgot how fun this one was.

I remember playing NFL Blitz 2000 at the arcade non stop. I was crazy about that game. The gameplay was simple yet wicked, the controls were good and the arcade foot aspect of it was extra great.This sequel is the opposite. It's hard a hell. The controls aren't very instinctive. The story line is basic. The zooming in effect each time there is an injury is just creepy and doesn't make it ''cool''.I was so dissapointed with this. I traded it in a few weeks later.

C'est violent, c'est fun, mais si comme moi vous détestez le rap, ce jeu donne des envies de meurtres. Sinon il est sympa a jouer, mais la gestion des blessures alourdit l'ensemble et complique un jeu déjà bien complexe.

Good football game for those tired of the Madden experience like I am. They need more games like this.

10/10 will play forever. Delivered in an orderly fashion.
