Left Handed Scrawler A+ pen
I own 3 of these in purple, this turquoise , and black. All fine nib.Easy to hold. Smooth but doesn't slip. Even flow of ink. GREAT for inverted left handed gorillas.I have been using fountain pens since 1974 as my grade school required them. I have used everything from Schaefer, Waterman, Joon, Tombo, Mont Blanc. To say that I am hard on writing instruments is an understatement. I write upside down scrawl and reverse angle the nib and more slash and drag than 'write' . Typically I handwrite 10-15 pages a week. I also sketch doodle while working out plots in short stories.I am grateful that these pens do not vomit ink all over the page and that you can hold them in such a way to keep your left hand off the page. The typical paralytic monkey drag of a right hander which most fountain pens require at the 45 degree nib placement popular with orangutans would leave a lefty smearing ink across the page and soaking into sleeves.Pilot nibs last about 2 years of heavy use from me before giving up the ghost.I wish they made an extra fine nib.Oh and their bottle ink is stupendous

Writes like a much more expensive fountain pen
I was so pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of this fountain pen.Writes like a much more expensive fountain pen and the nib is very smooth -- this is the Medium Japanese nib which is more like a fine nib. I tested it with PILOT Iroshizuku Bottled Fountain Pen Ink, Shin-Ryoku, Forest Green (Dark Green) and I loved it, wrote on Claire Fontaine paper. I even tested it on hp 32lb laser paper and it was a delight. The customer service was also excellent when I had a problem. An excellent way of introduction to the world of fountain pens

Perfectly Balanced, Writes Beautifully
My review is for the Metropolitan Pop Fine Nib in Turquoise.I have small hands so appreciate that this cigar shaped pen is relatively narrow and easy to hold. The Pilot Metropolitan is available in several solid colours along with a beautiful retro inspired collection with fun designs and bright colours that Pop. The fine nib with these pens is finer than other brands definition of fine but it still suits my writing style. The fine nib may not suit beginners though, the medium nib may be better for those new to fountain pens. The nib can feel a little scratchy at first, especially on cheaper paper but it does bed in. If you need to accelerate that process use the brown paper grocery bag trick where you scrub the pen lightly from side to side and the abrasive nature of the bag gently smooths out any harshness on the nib. A converter is included but if you prefer to use ink cartridges you need to be aware that Pilot have their own proprietary cartridges, their pens do not use the International standard cartridges. My purchase was under $20 which represents an excellent value for such a beautiful and well made pen.

Light Weight and Trendy
This makes for a very user-friendly carry-around pen. Though not as weighty or elegant as some of its pricier cousins, this makes for a good starter fountain pen or travel pen. To clean, soak the nib tip in water until the water runs clear when rinsed then blot and let air dry on paper towel.

Great purple, it's a metropolitan
This is my third metro. The second one came with crack in "section" that I didn't notice for nearly a year... just had lots of ink messes I assumed I caused. :/ This is the replacement. It is a fine nib, stamped with "F" and I love it. It comes with a squeeze converter. I'm not as much a fan of that type, but it's easy and quick enough to use.The purple barrel is a very nice shade and now I only have a sticker label for my name (so it's not stolen) instead of for the ink color in it. :)

Nice pen
I usually don't write reviews but I feel like I need to. The pen is nice. I have a small collection of fountain pens and recently found out my boss wanted one. I figured I'd buy a decent but not outrageously priced one for her birthday. The pen feels balanced and it's not too heavy or large. I cant speak for the writing ability, as I want her to have the chance to ink her own pen for the first time. The reason I feel I need to write a review is the converter. The pen came with a converter, the Con-B. THIS IS NOT THE CON 70. I was under the impression that this pen did not come with a converter due to an answer in the FAQs. In the description it says it is compatible with the CON 70. This is false. The CON 70 is too large for this pen. So do not buy a CON70 with the expectation of putting it in this pen, it will not fit. I should know, I bought it and put it in the pen and lo and behold, the edges of the converter are cracked now. That's my own fault, I didn't do research and trusted the description, and didn't notice where it said that the converter was included. I just wanted to help others avoid confusion.

Excelente y hermoso diseño
Simplemente hermoso, punta fina, excelente flujo de tinta. El convertidor incluído no me gustó mucho pero es lo de menos el bolígrafo lo vale.
