Work great
Disclaimer I dnt use them for cameras so I dnt know about all that. I use them to level scopes and other things. These come I 2 sets of 2. So you get 4 individual pieces. That said they work great

Just what the doctor ordered.
These are just what I needed for digitizing negatives. One goes on the table, the other on the camera. Match 'em up by adjusting the camera, and you have sharp focus using a macro lens with very shallow depth of field. Would work as well with any other macro photography, like stamp collecting. The name of the game is razor sharp focus. I'm going to use one for tripod shots outdoors also. Both the levels come with the shoe mount. The plastic feels thick and very tough, they don't seem fragile. That's a Canon 20D the level is mounted on in the pic.

Level is inaccurate
Level is inaccurate so it's pretty much useless for its intended purpose. Multiple levels all give different results. Maybe ok if you only need to get in the ballpark.

Verify camera in level.
The level works well, it has helped me ensure that my camera is level and parallel in camera stand. The bulb size is a bit small when compared to the scribe lines. If the bubble size was larger it would fill the scribed lines allowing an increase in the accuracy of the levels. Fits well in the hot-shoe for the camera. All-in-all a good value for the money.

Great bubble level for landscapes, good value
I had a Linhof version of this sort of bubble level cube years ago, it was very expensive, this does exactly the same, and is a real bargain and a solid value. Perhaps not "high precision", but more than adequate for landscape photography, and affordable enough that if you lose one, well, you've got another one as well for the price. Recommended.

It will make you bleed.
Sharp corners will draw blood, guaranteed. Sand 'em down! Now, why did I give this one a 2-star rating, was it just for the sharp corners?… Not at all. This gizmo has been designed by dolts and targeted to, um, like-minded people. How does one typically test a bubble level? Well, you prop it up on a flat level surface, right?…Now let's think about it for a second. If you look at your camera's hot shoe, you'll notice that it has a pair of springs that push the feet of the inserted accessory against the inner top side of its "rail". That's right, bottom of your accessory's feet doesn't matter – what really matters is the shape and alignment of its top side. And these gizmos have them convex shaped, with random mould marks to boot.In short, no matter how well it performs on a flat surface, once you insert it into hot shoe, all bets are off.Lots of sanding is in order. Lots of it.
