Very helpful educational tool to haveI am impressed with the accuracy of the bone markings and all. I am satisfied.

The media could not be loaded. The skelly was provided by Axis as a 'for review' item.And it's quite impressive if we don't factor 'size' which is about 3 ft. tall. But that's Okay because most bones are there which should make it good teaching material. Our daughter who helped me set it up is in fact planning to donate it to her school because she will actually be taking anatomy this year and she knows that the school couldn't afford to purchase a skeleton replica because supporting the sports teams is so much more important.Before I post her thoughts, I would like to note that, even without an assembly guide, we were able to put it all together in about 15 minutes. It's not that complicated but a one-page 'manual' would have helped. That being said, here are our daughter's thoughts of the skelly. By the way, she named it 'Friend'. I know..._____________________________________________This human skeleton replica is really nice for someone like me who is about to study anatomy in school. The bones can be easily identified and you can even bend the arms and legs. The legs came detached but you can put them on easily. As you move the top of the leg more the string begins to loosen a little but you can fix it by doing the same method you would've used to put it on (pushing the button and pulling the string). The bones are very strong and the base is sturdy so I don't think it'd break too easily.I know that I am going to miss it but I am planning to give it to the school because being able to touch the bones will be more interesting than just watch videos and stare at drawings._____________________________________________I am rating it a 5 star because this is good stuff but I hope the maker attach an assembly guide.

As a professional dressage instructor (horseback riding), I needed a miniature version of a human skeleton that had a moveable head of femur, interochahantic line, and great trochanter, a tiltable pelvis to show the angle on the iliac crest, and luckily this skeleton works great. What doesn’t work is the stand. If screwed tight together, the base can’t stand up. If the nut & base & plate are loose enough for the stand to be level with a table, the weight of the skeleton falls down. It would be nice if it came with a portable carrying case.

It was user friendly

This is by far my favorite Amazon purchase! It’s the perfect size for studying! It doesn’t take up too much space but you can still clearly see everything. I wasn’t expecting the skull to come apart and was considering buying a separate skull for studying but I won’t need to so that’s a huge plus. And you can’t beat the price. I would recommend this to anybody who is taking anatomy courses or in a rad tech program.

Picked this up for a Highschool Sophomore taking Biology and entry level nursing classes. Item is sturdy and mounts to the stand without issue.As far as accuracy of the skeleton. Comparing it to her medical books it is accurate ( I was no help here as I have a history and business degrees... But I know some of the words to the 'headbone's connected to the... neckbone...' etc.Good study tool, good documentation, just the right size to sit on a desk or bookshelf.On a final note. It fits perfectly into the Star Wars 36inch Stormtrooper armor, if you cut it open... Just adding.

Not overly impressed with this dude. His head is too small, the ribcage is expanded, head doesn't stay nicely atop the spine and no amount of adjustment can make him keep his chin from resting on his sternum. He was cheap and will do semi ok for enlightening my clients about bone placement etc.

I'm a medical student and I needed something that could help me study so that I could understand the relationship between bones in a 3D manner instead of just a textbook. I bought this skeleton and so far I love it! It's a great tool that I can refer to and definitely has helped me understand instead of just memorizing a textbook. It's also the perfect size. It's not too big that you can't carry it around and it's not too small that you can't see the details of the landmarks on the bones. I feel like I will be keeping this thing for the years to come.
