This was an interesting book
It kept me interested and had a crazy plot. I was glued to the pages and read it in a day. If you like science fiction type books this one will be a winner for you.

Good story told well
The year is 2059 and ocean levels are rising displacing millions of desperate people. Archeologist, Dr Martin Anders is looking for Atlantis when he is approached by representative of a very rich corporation named “Genesis”. While working for them he will unveil some of the mysteries of human history as well as some current conspiracies. It is a very good story told very well. It reads very smoothly, has a good pacing and it is very much to the point; it does not wander into any side venues. Characters are interesting (although not overcomplicated) and dialogs are good. The plot combines some new and some old ideas in a very engaging way. It is a light read and, as such, I enjoyed it very much. I also liked the “real life versus fiction “part at the end where author explains which true facts inspired his story. This book reminded me a little of some of Clive Cussler ( Clive Cussler ) books but without Dirk Pitt macho personality (which was a plus).

Predictable and unimaginative
The basic premise was good. Combine the future with the past. But I thought it was unimaginative and predictable. It starts off 40 years into the future. The author really didn't have much imagination. With technological changes occurring so fast these days there was little the author imagined new that we don't have today. Then the scientists were transported back 12,000 years. You could predict what was going to happen. I guessed how the story was going to end with almost 100 pages still to read. But for 99 cents it was worth it

What was our history like?
Kudos to our esteemed author Mr. James D. Prescott for this brilliant novel. I did not expect a historical novel to be so filled with action, and so adventurous! There was intrigue, betrayal, religion, and just a little romance. The action was nonstop, with an unexpected bonus of theory which made you think, what if? I highly recommend this excellent read!

Action and adventure
Very fast read that provides plenty of action and lots of theories. This book could have explored the theories and possibilities of modern man and time and fleshed the ideas out a little more. Still its a fun read

The twists and turns will give you whiplash!
The Genesis Conspiracy can perhaps be best described as a sci-fi time travel adventure thriller. If that sounds like a mouthful, it's because this book covers many bases. It starts out with the chace discovery of a 12,000 year old frozen body in the mountains. But, there's a reason the guy wasn't buried in a cemetery: he carries a highly contagious deadly pathogen which is unwittingly transferred to others. The human race has just 96 hours to find a cure, or be wiped out.A portal is found that can take travelers back to the year 10,000 BC. An intrepid team of scientists makes the leap, suspecting that the cure can be found there. But a group of bad guys is already there, and the cure hangs in the balance. Thus ensues an exciting, well-paced romp through ancient civilizations, including the lost city of Atlantis. There's danger at every turn, along with the resolutions of some of history's greatest mysteries. You won't want to stop reading until the end. Recommended for fans of Indiana Jones, Dan Brown, and A.G. Riddle, to name a few.

Pretty interesting
It's a very impressive way to look at some of the things that make up the very distant past. It's absolutely possible or will be at some point and the question then is will we do it?

Loved the plot twists
I enjoyed this story that combines history and sci-fi elements. Very imaginative premise for a novel, dealing with time-travel to look for Atlantis. The characters were well-developed and the plot twists great fun! Looking forward to the sequel.

How did humankind make great leaps forward about 12 000 years ago
How did humankind make great leaps forward about 12 000 years ago? Conspiracies and conflict between/among corporations, a secretive religious group and a mentally impacted individual acting as a god, make a very readable book. (Reread early Dec 2017.)
