KNACRO MAX9814 Electret MIC Microphone Amplifier Module Auto Gain Control Microphone

This is great product. I'm using this module in the development of a low cost hearing assistive device for people who can only use headphone devices rather than the normal types of hearing aids. Five stars for the product and ten stars for the supplier, Xiny. I have developed numerous products, but this is my first attempt in the audio field, and their customer support has gone above and beyond in their assistance.

This product is a mono device yet the designer presented with a stereo jack .With a normal headphone the impedance presented to the ic was sixteen ohms which was a mismatch and the volume was much too low for for the hearing aid I was designing and I had to use another amplifier.At 64 ohm connected in mono the volume is acceptable for normal use.I consider the stereo jack a bit deceptive The price was so high I was under the impression that the device produced more output than the other much cheaper modules containing that ic

Very good mic preamp. I needed just the preamp so I removed the microphone and the bias resistor and it worked just fine. Great value for the price.
