More Than a Little

This makes a lovely gift book for not only children of all ages but for adults that appreciate cute illustrations. It's a great way to show the recipient how much you care and love them. It's full of encouragement and the illustrations add a warm and cozy feeling. The illustration theme is set in nature, the woods/forest/woodlands to be more specific, and full of woodland animals dressed in cute outfits, flowers, ferns, mushrooms, fireflies, each page filled with wonder. The illustrator: Cécile Metzger did a beautiful job bringing the heartfelt words of M.H. Clark to life. I'm very happy I purchased it.

Not only is this book so sweet, it’s so cute!! We keep it out on a shelf and read it to our sweet baby regularly. The message is perfect and the way it’s written is darling. We love it so much, we love to gift it to our friend’s kids for their birthdays/baby showers as well. Just perfect!!

I bought this book to give to a friend of over five years who moved 1,500 miles away after she got married this summer. She loves books, and this was such a beautiful way to give her something that told her in a beautifully narrated way how much I love her and have appreciated her friendship over the years. It is sweetly and beautifully illustrated and the simple prose is full of nostalgia and meaning. The book itself is a wonderfully sturdy, high quality hard cover that is perfect for displaying on any coffee table, nightstand or bookshelf. There was a blank page at the beginning I was able to write a dedication on, and it turned out to be a wonderfully sentimental gift for both my friend and myself. I was so happy with this purchase!

Purchased this book along with a Willow Tree for my moms birthday. Truly the most thoughtful and beautiful book to gift someone who means a lot to you. It brought my mom to tears and said all the things I wanted to tell her to express how grateful I am for her. The book arrived in perfect condition and on time. I did not include all of the pages in pictures but some of my favorites.

I ordered this book for my cousin’s woodland animals-themed baby shower. We wanted to have everyone in attendance sign the front pages as a guestbook of sorts, and it worked out wonderfully!!There is a brown watercolor tree pattern inside, but with a black felt tip sharpie pen we were able to write legibly over it with no issues. My sister read it to my 3 month old before the shower and we all enjoyed it, such a sweet but simple story. But my word, those illustrations are TOO cute! I wanted to hang several up on the wall of the nursery!

Such a sweet book. Love this author and we have her other book "You Belong Here". Illistrations are well done and I love the quality/materials of this book. Highly recommend for baby/childs story time.

We adopted my son when he was 2 years old. I bought this book for his 10th birthday and he absolutely LOVED it!!This book is a perfect way for a parent or grandparent etc. to express how much the child is wanted, loved, valuable and that this is a better place because they’re in it!! It’s also a perfect keepsake for the child! Highly recommend!!
