Product received is in a different language and not what I ordered.
I did not like that the product is advertised in English but the product received is in another language. This is a medication and the medical information leaflet is not in English. The advertise product states protection for 6 months; the product received has the #12 on the cover. I presume that infers 12 months of protection. I do not want 12 months of protection. I am not happy that I must use the product but because of the area in which I live and that my dog has a double coat, he must have tick protection. In addition, my dog has epilepsy so I do not know if there will be any adverse effects wearing a 12 month flea and tick band as oppose to a 6 month band. Why can't people just send you exactly what they advertised and what you paid for? Next time I place an order, I will definitely review where the product is coming from and review the comments.

FREEDOM FROM TICKS!
I live in the Hudson Valley where lyme disease is prevalent. Our two labradors love running around in our wooded yard. Since using scalibor, they have NEVER had a tick on them!! Love it the freedom from ticks!

First one was great, not second one. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN.
This is my second order for this product. The first one seemed to work really good. However, this one has not worked. Found fleas and a tick. Maybe due to getting wet, however was to be water proof. I really like the idea of buying every six months vs monthly. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN,

Works great
Why only 3 reviews and all extremely negative? I think they are steering people toward the more expensive seresto. Scalibor collars have been around for a long time. They were the standard before seresto came on the scene. I've used them for years on my labs and never had a problem. I've had them on my present lab for 5 years and have had no concerns and no ticks attached.

Do not use this collar.
This collar was on my very healthy 4yr old 80lb black lab for 4 months. He collapsed one morning with tremors and inability to walk. He was rushed to the vet and we were told he was poisoned from the collar. Neurotoxic poisoning. It was classic and the vet had seen it so much they stopped carrying the collar. He was hospitalized for days and is coming along now but we were not sure he would live. The dog did not eat or chew the collar. It was only on his neck. DO NOT USE THIS COLLAR!

Merck scalibor products VERY NEUROTOXIC!!!
Scalibor collar:: EXTREMELY NEUROTOXIC DON'T USE! READ OUR STORY!Our 1 yr old mal shi is sensitive to the topical flea and tick meds that are put on the back so our vet recommended this collar. Worst mistake ever. Within 24 hours of having collar on dog started having seizures and behavior changes. We were up all night with him, bathed him gave Benadryl and aspirin per vet. None of it helped, he is unable to sleep because of the terrible constant jerking. Praying for speedy recovery for our poisoned beloved family pet. No warnings on box and vet had no idea either. Story's just like ours all over amazon. Wish I read those first but trusted my vet too much. Call Merck for product removal or at least a warning label 800-224-5318RT
