Yes, it comes with clear and precise instructions..

Q: Does this torch come with butane, or does it need to be purchased separately?

It does not come with the butane. You have to purchase it separately. I found some at my local grocery. However, a review recommendation suggested using a multi filtered butane. I haven't used mine yet .just filled it to make sure it would light.

Q: Do you remove nozzle from butane and just insert the can of butane in bottom of the torch? Do you remove butane for storage?

you have to fill the torch with butane gas from can do not use with can attached
