Canada Goose Expedition Polar Bear International Parka

First off the nitty gritty on this parka, I wore this parka out in -60 last winter (2013/14) and wasn't even cold one single bit! Even in -30 I found myself undoing the zipper a little bit to let some air in because I was getting to hot! This parka also sports real fur, don't be fooled by other opinions, I had a North Face parka with fake fur before it was NF top of the line parka and let me tell you real fur does so much more to protect you from the cold and the wind its unreal. The cuffs are recessed , tight and sewn into the arms so no wind gets in. The pockets are big and plentiful and fleece lined. The fur ruff is removable (dry cleaning) and adjust three different ways to block wind and pull tight around the face for the harshest conditions on Earth. Nothing and I mean nothing winter throws at you (I live in Wisconsin) gets through this parka.On top of all that this is the most thoughtful design I have ever encountered in a winter parka. Every detail was paid extreme attention too and its obvious from the first time you pull it out of the box it arrives in. It is the most beautiful parka I have ever seen. Every where I go I get compliments on it non stop! Pictures do not do this parka justice, it is the most gorgeous color blue ever, and the only way to get this color is to order a PBI (Polar Bears International) line up. The patches are awesome plus $25 gets donated to the PBI fund (save the polar bears).This Parka takes Old Man Winter and makes him his b****.

First, I returned the product so I can not attest to any long-term use.The good: I truly loved the color and the quality of the coyote fur. The jacket seems to be well put together. There have been complaints about the zipper but I found it easy to use.The bad: the price! While this is a nice jacket with quality craftsmanship and real fur. I do want to be blown away for $1,100. They don’t use goose down (duck) in their flagship jacket. Duck is lower quality and has a lower fill power meaning it is going to require more duck down to achieve the same fill as goose down. The size is also much too big. I am 6’0” and 170lbs and ordered a medium. It was gigantic.Who this is for: I have to say for the price and poor fit, it seems that this jacket would only be useful for someone who wants to own Canada Goose. There are better jackets for much cheaper. If this was $700 it still would be competitive to other brands but for “performance” layering would be a much better option than a parka if you need a functional jacket.

I just received my PBI expedition parka today. I was so excited I could not wait to open the box. The first thing I did was make sure it is real and genuine. I made sure to go over all tags, pockets, and fur. After about 6 minutes, I finally figured out it is 100% real and genuine. I highly recommend that anyone spending this much money for a coat that is so worth it, make sure you are buying the real thing. I am 6 feet tall so I went with all the reviews to order a size down. I wear medium in coat size, so I got size small. This coat is so big, and so warm that I now wish I did order extra small. It is so big, if you are a size medium, I would highly recommend extra small. However, I am fine with size small. I usually like my things to last long so I do not mind it being a little big. If you like a fit coat that is stylist and close to your body, go with two size down if you wear size medium.This is coat is worth every penny. I cannot wait to explore the mountains in the winter blizzards.

What a true waste. So many ways to stay just as warm. Talk about a way to show people with money.

I've always loved Canada Goose products but thought there was no way I would spend that much money on a coat. My wife and I live in Minneapolis and are avid winter outdoor enthusiast, the colder the better. I was so impressed with this coat I bought a red woman's Canada Goose parka for my wife and a red vest for myself for less extreme weather conditions. As you may know we must experienced a polar vortex where we had prolonged temperatures which went as low as -38 degrees with -60+ wind chi.ls. We used this opportunity to deliberately walk across our frozen lake directly into the biting wind and we weren't giddly happy and chit chatting away. Love these coats of the highest quality! Worth every penny and we know they will last the rest of our lives and pass down to children.

Wow!!! This parka is all it's supposed to be and is genuine!! Be sure to look for the hologram to make sure you have the real item!!

This coat is so beautiful and warm I love the polar edition blue I got the hat too !!

I did return. It was a fake product. I should have guessed because the price was so low. anyway.
