Amazing flavor
This is not a common product in my part of the globe to be certain. However, my journey of making Eastern Europe breads made me seek this out. It’s not molasses. It’s not maple syrup. It’s a flavor somewhere in between and amazingly delicious. Next journey, archipelago bread from Finland - that’s what I’ll be using it for next..it’s awesome that a service like Amazon is available to get products like this- I love it.

DELICIOUS!
If you've never had Swedish Dark Syrup, you're in for a treat. It tastes to me like a cross between a really good molasses and golden syrup. Not too strong, not too mild, and somehow with a unique flavor of its own.Expensive, in the US, anyway, but so worth it for Swedish holiday treats. You can try making them using molasses, but the flavor isn't going to be the same. (If you DO use molasses in such a recipe, BTW, find a mild one and definitely avoid blackstrap.)Vörtbröd for Christmas, coming up!

Yummy and pourable
The flavor is so much better than regular (USA) syrups, and puts fairly easy. I’ve been putting it on my Eggos for a treat. Glad to have found this.

Tastes amazing!
This is worth a purchase. The flavor is a cross between Caramel and Butterscotch. I've added it to several baked goods recipes and it provides an extra depth of flavor. Will repurchase.

Brought back memories!
Made Finnish Slice cookies and Joulu Limppu with the syrup. It gave both that distinct Finnish flavor. Thank you for carrying it through Amazon!

Got wrong item 2x (manufacturer error in packaging
For the second time in 2 weeks I received the wrong item. We wanted the Swedish Dark Baking Syrup, but received 2 boxes of sugar cubes. The exterior packaging (plastic bag) has the SKU label for the syrup, but the bag contains the sugar. Dan Sukker needs to work with AMZN to fix this

Love this...
This makes fantastic cookies. Not sure what else you can do with it, but so glad to have discovered it.

Tops broken
I hope the product is OK! Like others have experienced, the tops of both bottles were completely smashed. Somehow, the liquid did not leak. Since it’s syrup, I assume it’s safe. But, why can’t package handlers not secure the contents better!
