ROCKYRkc042 mens Military and Tactical Boot

These are pretty good boots. The soles are very comfortable; literally the most comfortable military boot I've ever had! Although these are good, there are a couple things that need fixing (reason for the 3 stars).Color: I was pretty dissatisfied in the color. They have a light picture and then if you scroll down you see darker pictures of this boot. The actual color seems more of just Coyote and not Coyote Brown (compared to my other Coyote Brown boots). The Coyote brown I've had before is usually darker. Rocky has another lightweight boot in the suggestions at the bottom of this one whose actual true color is Coyote Brown. I would've ordered that one but it wasn't on Amazon at the time I got these.Laces: These laces are somewhat short. I've broken my boots in (been wearing for about 2 months now) and I still have to constantly, excessively tighten these to get them through the top eyelets of the boots all the way. This creates little room for a double knot, which is needed. I really like these boots but I may need new laces.Width: This wasn't actually bad at all. I always get wide sizes but with these the wide was actually really big. Again, not a bad thing, just got a regular size and they fit great. The toebox is also pretty wide already so I would suggest getting a regular size unless if you wear maybe an extra wide shoe or something.

The last two pairs I ordered been falling apart, mind you it’s doing pt every morning for about a week the sore began to separate. Not sure if it’s just a bad batch, cause I’ve ran the same size and shoe years on years and no issue until now not sure what’s going on. But the return process is easy to get replacements

I have been wearing Rocky C4T for my entire military career they have been great for garrison, deployment, and the field. So I decided to try the new style as per the new AR-670. They fit just as well as the C4T but I feel they are heavier but more sturdy better grip on the sole. Although I feel they have less cushion on an airborne landing. They are better version of the issue boots. But I feel that they could do a little bit more and the insole department.

They are comfortable like the Rocky boot C5C, because of the great insole. They are a little heavier than the C5C but much lighter than most boots that you would buy... Much better than Nike's sneaker boots and Oakley's sneaker boots. The one problem that I have run into s the left boot has a abnormality in the interior of the boot. And that abnormality is rubbing painfully into my left foot. Currently working on exchanging them. So not sure but assuming it will be as easy as returning everything else with Amazon.
