It's even mildly thicker than the original and the sound works without any problems! It works Great as a replacement!

Have an older set for our home gym, takes away the whirring sound on the treadmill with noise canceling, and I got it cheap. Lost the audio cable, which is nice to have, just in case the power runs out on the batteries (this cable won't charge it, but you can still listen to audio). The 900 model can't play audio while charging, so an audio cable is good to have as a back up. Works great!
