Based on other reviews, I had high hopes for using this product on my 17 year old Maine Coon cat who has stopped grooming himself and become badly matted. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to get through the matts at all. I spent about a half an hour trying to get rid of just one, but couldn't manage it. It can be dangerous to use scissors on cats, so I was really hoping this would work out. On the positive side, my cat seems to enjoy just being combed with it. The vibration and noise are soft, so he purrs through it and it does remove a bit of hair, but no matts. It also makes my hand hurt after awhile because you have to hold the button down to keep it on. Also, the charge seems to run out quite quickly. I don't believe it does what it says it does, so I'm planning on sending it back.

This is a cool product for get those hard to get knots. But my dog is afraid of the noise it makes

I received this product yesterday and have used it on my Old English Sheepdog once. It works great, however, I need to contact the manufacturer to find out how to remove the plastic cover over the blade because my dog's hair gets wrapped around the blade and prevents it from working until cleaned off. I'm unable to get ALL the hair from around the circular blade holder through the small crack on the cover. Once I figure out how to do that, grooming my OES will be an easier task.

I used to spend around 45 minutes brushing Cagney's hair.Before I used to get the tangling spray, detangling brush, and a pair of scissors before I even started.All probably cost around $65.Now all I have in my hand is a treat for rewarding her and this great brush.Total time now is around15 minutes.Thank you so much.

I gave this product 2 chances... when I saw it advertised on TV, it looked great! After it arrived, I charged it as directed and let my dog get accustomed to the tool and sound. I was excited because it was the first time he didn't feel terrified. One problem, after working for about 5 minutes the tool died. Okay I thought, maybe I didn't charge it long enough. Nothing!I returned it to Amazon and asked for an exchange (not a refund) because I thought it was just a fluke that I got a defective one.When second one arrived and didn't even work at all, I contacted Amazon again and this time requested a refund.

J’ai tardé à essayé le produit….quelle déception..!! Pas de retour, malgré que j’ai fait la demande au vendeur.Ça coupe très mal, ça se bourre de poils des les premières minutes.C’est même pas agréable de seulement peigner, ni moi, ni mon chien avons apprécié.Achat complètement inutile….
