4CLAWS Round Scratching Bed 14" (Tabby Brown and White) - DELUXE Collection Cat Scratcher

Both of my cats really enjoy this scratching bed, and took to it as soon as it came out of the box. The corrugation of the cardboard is tightly woven, unlike some other cat scratchers I've bought which are looser and wear our fast - so I know this one will be long lasting. Also, both sides of the cardboard circle can be used, another reason it's an excellent value. The fuzzy cover has some rubbery dots on the bottom that helps it grip the floor, so it doesn't slide around. Sprinkling some catnip on it makes it pretty irresistible to my kitties. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make it bigger. My 18 pound cat doesn't curl up and spend a lot of time on it like he did on a larger one that we used to have (which doesn't seem to be on the market anymore). He does often use it for sharpening his claws though, as does our younger kitten. Owner recommended, kitty approved!

I have bought two of these (one in each color) for our three cats. I occasionally add some catnip to the scratching surface. The smaller cat just manages to curl up inside the bed while the larger one (part Maine Coon) likes to lie across it with head and rear hanging over the edges of the bed.Scratching surface seems to be holding up so far but do have the spare scratching pad for when it is needed. The bed itself seems very hardy. I have had problems in the past with scratchers wearing out and no longer being able to get the scratching pads.

I bought this for one of my roommates two cats. One of the the two was abandoned by an old roommate and suddenly left with us. I was worried she might not get any christmas presents - so auntie sibley to the rescue! Freya the cat LOVES her scratch pad and also loves to sleep on it. The fluffy cover is perfect since Freya is a queen-sized cat, and her body doesn't fit perfectly in the circle. Wherever we put the circle in the house is where Freya sleeps. Her younger sister Athena likes the circle too, so it was a real house pleaser. I would definitely buy it again.

The cats do like it, for scratching and maybe lie down on it for a little while. The plush covering is just that, - covering, it doesn't provide a smooth padding for the edge of the round box shape. The box edge is very hard, not-rounded out, 84 a bigger cat lies on top of it and eventually finds it uncomfortable to sleep in. I had to make a pillow piping to place around the edge to make it softer to lay on. Also, the diameter is not big, omy 13 lb cat hangs off the edge.

My cat took some time but now she likes it.My only complaint is the cost of the replacement scratch pad costing just $2.00 less than a new scratching bed.

My cat just loves this new scratch pad, especially the tail. I have cardboard pads all the over the house and could never get him to use them, but he has taken to this one for his daily scratching quite nicely.

Kitty loves it. More importantly, it keeps those dang bits of cardboard she scratches up contained. Just tip it over, dump them out, and ready to go. No more of that stuff all over the floor.
