Book is Trash!
This book is awful. If you love dirt, gossip, embellishment, exaggerations, you will love this book. After the first few pages, I came to the conclusion that all this book is, is a diary of how many people Desi and Lucy slept with. The numbers are in the hundreds, possibly thousands, and it's all the authors seem to care about. There are numerous books out there about Lucy and Desi, together, and alone, that detail their lives without resorting to sensationalism.

Very gossipy no insight
What to say? I thought this book would be insightful but I came to the conclusion like the other reviewers that it was all about the subjects sexual conquests. I am an older person and not a prude but I can’t remember any time where I was involved in such blatant conversations regarding male apparatus. It seems that’s all these people were consumed with. How do the authors know the exact conversations that were quoted? And everyone was gay, a lesbian or bisexual. If Lucy and Desi were really like this then it’s no wonder they were miserable. Very trashy book.

I Should Have Paid Attention to the 1-Star Revuews
I really love "I Love Lucy" and I enjoy reading about that show as well as other beloved shows of the 1950s. So I ignored the bad reviews when deciding on this book. Big Mistake! The book is about 520 pages long and info about the show doesn't start until about Page 440. Much of the book focuses on the casting couch that Lucy used to get in movie roles. Normally, I might like to read that kind of stuff, but this author has a way of making even shocking events extremely dull and boring. And there are lots of details and photos of people from the 1920s and 1930s, whose names are either unknown or long-forgotten. I got so frustrated with the first 400 pages that I skipped over them to get to info about the show.

THIS BOOK IS TRASH
This book is absolute TRASH. I am so angry I spent $30.00 on Amazon for this. I should have just given $30 to a local shelter instead.I’m an avid Lucille Ball fan; which is why I got this book. There’s a lot of claims that cannot be backed up. It’s got a lot of nonsense about other actors. It’s very disgusting and difficult to read. I didn’t have the stomach to read a lot of it.Do NOT waste your time.I am not even selling it to Half Price. I’m throwing it in the garbage where it belongs.
