where are the assembly instructions ??

There never were instructions in my order for the product. Sadly, it was a gift and the recipient had to figure out how to assemble the molecule on their own.

What materials are in this? Could it be submerged in water?

It's plastic & styrofoam so I suppose it could be emerged in water but the ATCG colored strands are paper (sticker-like) and would likely get destroyed in water.
