USB Wifi Adapter , IMONTA USB Wifi 150mbps Wireless Adapter with Antenna

Took longer than predicted to arrive at my house. I needed it by a deadline so I had to buy a much more expensive one from walmart last minute. I complained and they refunded my money, but when it finally did get here it worked for all of about 5 minutes. It was PnP and seemed just fine but its blue light went out and it was no longer registering with any computers... Junk.

Listed as RT5370 chipset but recieved RTL8188CUS. Wireless works but I needed the listed chipset.

Adapter freezes browser. Drivers are up to date. No online fix to be found. Going back to ethernet cable.

For my use anyway it works fine on Win10.Need to load the driver disk.

A tad complicated to figure out. Had to send it back. I guess that's what to expect from the price.

Signal is weak and not good.

Uses an RTL8188CUS chipset and has issues when used in either client or host mode when used with Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Debian, OpenWRT, and LEDE, to name a few (tested with and without a USB hub). Short bursts of data (loading mostly text and images from a server inside my LAN) work fine but, as soon as you start streaming content or putting any heavy load on the thing it drops connection and fails to connect repeatedly. I haven't found the cause of the problem but, I have had multiple issues with the RTL8188CU, RTL8188EU, and RTL8188CUS chipset. I bought 3 of them all at the same time and they all have the same problem. These are useless.
