Be Prepared to be Scared! Teen survival 101!
I love reading books that are hard to put down and are downright scary. This book, the first one in a new series by author David Robbins meets those requirements.Courtney Hewitt is a teenager who lives with her family in Minnesota. Her mom said something about coming straight home from school today and that her dad was worried about some warships. Whatever. Courtney had plans that didn't include listening to what her parents to say, but did include hanging out with her friend, Sally Ann and a certain boy named Tommy. However, this day was a day that would forever change her life!Although it was broad daylight, a living nightmare was about to begin. You keep wishing that maybe you were in a dream and someone would wake you up, but that wasn't going to happen. A massive global attack has occurred and life as you knew it would never be the same. It is now a world where biochemical warfare has affected living beings into something else, something more hideous than you could ever imagined. What would you do if this happened to you?Mr. Robbins' vivid storytelling makes it feel like you are there! This is a fast moving story and left me wanting to know more which is why I am looking forward to more stories in this kick action post apocalyptic series. Courtney and her friends are embarking on a journey that includes how do you survive in a world where nothing is what you expected it to be and unthinkable horrors are around every corner! If you like being scared, this is a must read book!

teenagers survive ww3
Courtney ( the main character ) seems slow to get what is going on around her . And if not for her friends she probably would get killed off early . She starts out kind of wimpy but starts to both toughen up and accept that the world has changed forever . It is good enough that I am going to read the next book and see how it goes .

The beginning of another collectable series
As a fan of the Endworld & Blade series (which I still have..all copies). I find the charactors of "A girl" & the overall plot as well as the forshadowing of the charactors who (I'm sure) will make it to the compound that was mentioned in the storyline a very good read. I look forward to reading the next book when it's released. Keep up the good work Mr. Robbins!

the beginning of another great series
I won't say much other than I really enjoyed this book. I am honestly a huge (really huge) endworld fan , and the fact that this book ties into that universe might make me biased on the greatness of this one. I see the beginnings of something really good and I hope you will too. Please keep writing for the endworld universe , Mr. Robbins!!

Delete from Kindle collection.
Could not finish it. Totally unbelievable. I had read all the Endoworld books back in the 80s and 90s and was ectasctic to see the series might be renewed. I don't want to go into details, but its just totally unrealistic. The most annoying thing was the fact this teenage girl spoke like an old man. I mean, her vocabulary was like something my Dad would say, not my daughter. Stick with the far future, Mr. Robbins, your Endworld books are classic!

Fun Prequel to Endworld Series.
A good prequel story to David Robbins 'Endworld' series, I liked this a lot because I've wanted to read about to know more about the survivors from when the third world war 3 broke out. This appears to be the first book in the new prequel spin-off so I'm hoping we'll see another one in the near future.
