Easy to break for my toddler.
Good thing I bought extras because my son broke several the first day. They're kinda thin but they do the job. Maybe dont buy if you have kids.

It does what I wanted to do. They are a little small but it’s ok.
I like them but they are a little small.

Works ok
The media could not be loaded. Wish the top was a bit longer over the vent but it's fine. It is adjustable too.

NOT AS ADVERTISED, DESCRIBED, OR PICTURED.
I VERY RARELY pen negative reviews - and have essentially never reviewed a product this soon after receiving it (I'm writing this the day following its delivery and less than an hour after attempting to install one). Nevertheless, as soon as I removed one of the four 'heat deflectors' received from its box, I could immediately tell that I would encounter problems - I just wasn't (yet) aware of the extent thereof, as described below:1. As multiple reviewers have already stated, the plastic from which the 'heat deflector' is constructed is very thin (too thin). This not only makes it subject to easy breakage, but the over flexibility of the plastic makes extending it less than "user friendly" (don't be surprised if the 'moveable' half of the deflector jams or pops out of the guides molded into the other half while making said adjustment).2. As at least one other reviewer noted, the "magnets" which are supposed to hold it in place against a steel HVAC supply vent diffuser are NOT as shown in the ad's image (nor like such deflectors I have bought and used - successfully - in the past). The magnets on this 'heat deflector' are flexible extruded (elastomeric) magnets cut to length from a roll (similar to, as one reviewer described, 'refrigerator magnets').3. The final 'nail in the coffin (so to speak) - and the WORST of the problems this product presented - was the FACT that, COMPLETELY CONTRARY to what the Amazon ad states, it (and the other three received no doubt - albeit seeing no need, I did not open the other boxes to confirm) ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT meet the adjustable ("10-14") dimensions claimed in the ad (and on the product's box). At its narrowest setting, the 'heat deflector' measured 8 1/4" end-to-end (measuring from the outermost edge of the magnets on opposite end of the product); and at their widest setting, that same measurement was only 9 3/8" - ergo, even in its most extended configuration, it STILL did not so much as meet the NARROWEST width claimed in the ad (and, again, on the box) . . . and, as another reviewer stated, the adjustment range was NOT 4" as claimed, but only 1" (or, as measured by me, only slightly more than 1").I hold a degree in engineering and (admittedly) tend to be rather picky (like most engineers - just the nature of the beast I'm afraid) - but nobody (NOBODY!) should be so complacent as to (nor even feel that they should) accept such a BLATANT misrepresentation of a product's MAIN functional dimensions (keeping a civil tongue in my mouth, I'll borrow a phrase Norman Schwarzkopf often employed during the first Gulf War - such misrepresentations are nothing short of "Bovine Scatology" . . . or as some may claim to be used 'South of the Border' - "El Toro Caca"). In any case, such inaccuracy (be it deliberate or otherwise) is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE - regardless of if pertaining to a $2.00 or a $2,000 item!I'm a long-time - and normally very satisfied - Amazon buyer - and this ($10.90) purchase is NOT sufficient to change that. I DO, however, feel compelled to offer both Amazon and other (potential) buyers a heads-up, by advising that, at least in this instance, SOMEBODY has MOST CERTAINLY failed their due diligence re. a product advertised and sold via Amazon's Web site . . . beginning with the seller (who HAD to have AT LEAST been aware of the described dimensional disparity), then moving to within Amazon's ranks (does nobody within Amazon verify the veracity of ads posted on Amazon?).Even at only $10.90, I WILL be returning this item - not doing so would be less than honest on my part.

Thin
Very thin plastic but does the job I guess! Would have liked thicker plastic so don’t break so easy?

Flimsy plastic but the magnet is good
Cats did hot laps behind the couch and shattered three of them. A fourth we don’t even know what happened because there is no way it could be tapped by a vacuum or cats of chaos could get ahold of.

Very flimsy product
Very flimsy the two pieces dont stay together. Edges came cracked. And it’s so thin it’s impossible to clip the magnetic pieces on the end it just breaks. Can’t be bothered to waste my time shipping back I’ll have to look for another product. So very disappointed.

Smaller in width then ones you can buy in stores.
This product is great to adjust lengthwise but the width is smaller then the ones you can buy in stores. So, some air redirected from the vent still goes up instead of the direction one wants the deflect.
