My First Book of Superpowers (DC Super Heroes)

My husband has been really into all the super heroes ever since he was little, as I'm sure a lot of boys were and probably still are. I really knew nothing about them until I decided to purchase my two year old a couple. I gave them to her for Christmas and she really took to them. We both really enjoy reading them together and have both learned so many name of superheroes and what their powers are. But what I love most about these books, is that its not really all about the superhero, they teach lessons, and they teach things like colors, shapes, words, counting, and body parts. They really are wonderful books - I let my daughter choose one of these books every night and we read together at bed time. My toddler and I started collecting all of them and we both get really excited when they arrive in the mail. My daughter started to think that the mail man was just giving them to us as gifts, as if I didn't have to buy them lol. We have collected every one and they are releasing another one next week which we have already pre ordered and are super excited about. The books are a great price and arrive quickly. I hope they continue to make these books because we really love collecting them and enjoy reading them. She is even starting to remember the words and "reads" along with me!

This is easily my son's favorite book. He loves looking at each superhero and I love the way the book puts the powers in simple words, easy to understand, appropriate for young kids. It's neat at the end to have the illustration of a ton of superheroes even ones not highlighted in the book. We ended up buying another book "Even Super Heroes Sleep" because we loved this one so much and it did not disappoint either. Would definitely recommend! My 2 year old son is obsessed.

This book is amazing. My son (3) absolutely loves it. My husband reads it to him with animations (Like flying or being strong) and he copies him! It is so cute. My son asks for this book just about every night. I love all the messages about being brave and smart and not just being strong and can fly! The illustrations are great and very colorful. I have already ordered more in this series!

I really like that this book focuses on personality traits more than super powers - Batman's super power is his brain, he's really smart and builds things to help people, Green Lantern received his power ring because he was brave, Hawkman and Hawkgirl can fly and work together etc. My three year old loves Batman so he says his super power is his brain, which I love!

Purchased for my son along with the superhero capes/masks and it was an awesome gift. Book is great quality and very colorful. Storyline could have a little more depth but not bad for the price paid.

My 3-year-old son is obsessed with super heroes, and this book is perfect for him. It is super colorful, has the right number of words per page, and it covers the main members of the Justice League. Highly recommend.

I gave this to a co-worker for a baby shower for her baby boy and it was a hit for the baby and guests alike

we are starting to get the whole collection. My 8 month old loves us to read these to him!! Very colorful and interactive when reading and making the sounds

My wife doesn't like this one but then it's not aimed at her . My three year old can't get enough of this one .
