ABRSM More Piano Sight-Reading, Grade 3

My son love

We bought this as it was recommended by their grade 3 piano tutor. It was a great resource which was handy as a guide. using this meant they passed their exams with good grades

This piano book comes with various examples that you expect to get from an ABRSM sight-reading book. The range of keys required in the exam is explored in the various examples. Necessary fingerings are occasionally included, and there is sufficient explorations of staccato, phrasing and other expressions. If I had one criticism of the book I would say perhaps it might be useful to have a one-page outline of tips on how to approach sight-reading, especially for parents who might want to help out their younger ones (like I do). Perhaps at the higher levels it is not necessary because students would have gained the necessary skills to approach the task, but at fairly lower levels such information would be useful. A good book nonetheless!

Good condition. Great purchase
