- GRIDMANN NSF Stainless Steel Commercial 2 Tier Double Overshelf 48 in. x 12 in. for Kitchen Prep & Work Table

We installed two shelves on two 48" wood Seville UltraHD work tables for inside home use. The shelves arrived in excellent condition. They were easy to install, sturdy enough for tables on wheels, and hold some pretty hefty weighted items. Even though they are stainless, we were able to mount magnetic LED strip lights under the shelves. My husband was very happy with this purchase and I included a picture of his workspace with the shelves. He also installed a 6 ft unit on a similar table with the same positive results. For the ladies out there, I was able to install my 48" shelves solo. Enjoy!

Have gotten many compliments on this shelf. It’s exactly what i wanted. Durable, functional and looks great sitting on my existing stainless work table. I happened to have some rubber feet that worked perfectly to sit the shelf on the table so that it won’t move. However, if you have a home where someone would grab it to hang on, then it could be pulled over or off the table with this type of set up. That is extremely unlikely to happen in my home, nonetheless, i don’t put knives or sharp objects on the shelf as a precaution. This issue could be mitigated by using the included attachment if you have a table that it will work with, but my table is wider, so it wouldn’t work - and frankly, i wouldn’t have used it anyway. The mounting bracket is not the same quality as the shelving and poles, it’s like a silver painted steel, not something i would want to use to mount to my all stainless tables anyway. that said, i rated it easy to assemble, since for my setup, it was very easy.

For the price, this table offers a nice and practical solution for clean surfaces. It came dented on the top shelf but I didn't want to deal with returns so I kept it. Be aware that a dented unit is a possibility, I also bought the table and another dent on the bottom shelf. The dents look horrible on the stainless, but there were none on the main surface so again I kept them.

Exactly what I needed, a little difficult to assemble on my own, as you need something to hold second shelf in place before tightening it ( I used a box ) but still gratifying when you get done because it's so sturdy. I ordered the shelf along with the forty eight inch table But the table turned out to be a little longer than the finished shelf so I used one foot bracket on one end and put the other two shelf feet into the disposable foot cups from the table to even it up and give it standing stability. The whole arrangement is against a wall so it works fine. Looks really cool in my little city apartment kitchen.

Picked up the prep table and the shelf system for my home and am thrilled with the product. I was a little worried about the gauge of the stainless after reading some of the product reviews, however, after hands on inspection all is well. The frame is galvanized steel and seems to be well engineered. I am a professional chef and found this product to exceed my expectations. I am very happy with my purchase. NOTE: You will need to have a drill and metal bit handy if you purchase the table and shelf at different times. I purchased stainless bolts and nuts to attach the shelf base to the table and used a 5 dollar metal bit to create the holes for assembly. Very easy, 10 minute assembly time. Hope this review helps.

Packaging was nice, and all parts were present and in excellent condition. When installed on the prep table it fit perfectly. The only (minor) complaint is that the mounting holes in the bottom fitting that attach to the table do not have matching holes in the table. My application allowed the use of aggressive double sided tape to keep the unit in place, so that was not a terrible issue. I highly recommend this shelf unit.

The company makes a good product but improvement is much needed in the packing and shipping. The counter edges and corners were dented in the shipping process. Not severe enough for me to hassle with returning but better packaging especially on the corners would help. Also I purchased the shelves that rest on top of the counter. There are holes in the shelf base to attach to the counter but no corresponding holes in the counter to screw the shelf to the counter. Both pieces are sturdy enough that I feel comfortable that the shelf will not fall when placed up against a wall, without moveable casters, but corresponding holes in the counter to secure the shelf to would be good.

I absolute love this shelf. It has transformed my kitchen. It is very sturdy and looks professional.
