Why can’t you make a bigger one for 15lb?

We have communicated with our factory about your suggestion and maybe we will produce large-sized pet backpacks in the future. Does the back of the backpack arch/cave in when you wear it? Just to make sure my cat won't be squished while I have it on.

No it does not cave in. There is a removable panel that you place on the bottom of the backpack to stabilize it. Overall we are very happy with this backpack, we have 2 cats & I got it for my son so he could take them for walks outside. Please note if you have a large cat this product may not work for you. The interior of the backpack is meant for smaller cats probably 8lbs & under. Hope this helps!

Would this fit a 15 pound cat comfortably?

A 12 lb. Bengal Cat fits into the backpack comfortably. However, a larger version of the backpack would be even better, as she continues to grow. Although, it is the only cat carrier the Bengal will tolerate, her weight can be a lot on my back. Therefore, a 15 lb. cat may be pushing the limits of the backpack and the comfort of the cat.
