Good quality but ONLY if is used for storage not for any OS
Pro:Huge capacity for a very small price,Almost no noise when running,7mm Thick and because that it can fit any laptop out there,Cons:5400 rpm if I install any OS on him it will take a huge time to performwhen i tried to copy huge files from internal ssd on him it performed at maximum 65-70 mb/s and that was even lower then a USB 3.0...For that price it deserves it's good place all that i hope is to last at least 2-3 years until the hdd's will become obsolete and SSD will rise with ridiculous prices

[L200 2TB 2.5"] (SMR Type) Very quiet and as fast as a desktop drive so far
After trying two (BarraCuda and Toshiba) 3.5" desktop drives and finding them far too noisy to sleep near I opted for a 2.5" drive and so far have found it to perform the same as the desktop drives minus the grumbling noise. The OS install from a system image took the same time to complete as the desktop drives, as did the transfer of 750GB of files. Maybe some will find the 2.5" slower for specific tasks, but for general use and gaming I have found them the same so far. But it is an SMR drive unfortunately.

Although an SMR drive - cheap and reliable
I've bought a number of these and all so far have been good - given what they are.I dont use them as OS drives, I use them for the purpose these type of drives were intended - archive/storage drives. The shingled magnetic recording technique used on pretty much all lower priced (and some higher priced) drives were developed through the write once re many purpose and random access is very much less efficient than with PMR drives - although these Toshiba drives are faster than old type sata 2 120/240/320GB PMR drivesHow to do that in a single bay laptop?use a SSD as the main drive, and Get one of the cheap CD/DVD/bluray drive replacement bays which will hold a 2.5" drive. Drop one of these cost effective 2 TB drives in as a second drive. Instant extra 2TB storage on board for the cost of an often unused CD/DVD drive. You can always drop the cd etc drive back in if needed although I would recommend shutting the computer down before swapping. On some laptops, the cd drive is as fast as the main HDD, although with many it does have a slower but still very good access speed.I've done this on a number of family and friends laptops with no issues whatsoever - although a lot may depend on the person dedoing it NOT doing something daft.

1 TerraByte, 2.5 inch hard drive.
The drive is nice and quiet, slim and works well. Used as a spare Home drive on our Ryzen setup. Four SSDs and four mechanical hard drives to provide backup facilities. Also another three external drive bays for potential off-site backups. We are cautious, we also have another, next generation Ryzen server on our network, this has a similar arrangement although it is newer. All run Linux Mint, all are water-cooled. Windows XP and 8 are run in virtual machines, isolated from the network, to execute needed business programmes incompatible with Linux. We no longer use M2 drives as they do not suit our multiple backup scheme. We will soon add network storage and a VPN.

Cheap and fast
The Toshiba L200 drive with 2TB capacity was the cheapest 2TB option at the tine of purchase. I can't comment on long-term reliability, but in testing the drive I found it fast and quiet. It's meant as a laptop internal drive, so fitted to an external 2.5" caddy/enclosure as I was using it the drive can return 100MBps write speeds (when the source drive isn't the limiting factor...). Not much more to say about this item - if they're on special offer when you're next looking for a drive, don't be swayed by more expensive models and just buy this one as you'll be getting a bargain.
