Funai WV20V6 SV2000 DVD Recorder and VCR Combo

I greatly appreciate that I was able to add this, out of production, machine to my Amazon wish list, and after a few months was presented with a choice of three used machines to purchase! Having bought one of these machines in 2006, when they were produced, I knew that it was excellent. It blows the other, higher priced machines, right out of the water; with twice the features and capabilities. The used machine arrived in good condition within a good timeframe. Both the VCR and DVD work fine and the remote was included (no instruction booklet, but I have the one for my identical machine). I have not yet tried the dubbing feature, but I expect it to work well. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a versatile DVD/VCR recorder that stands up well to use. I actually bought it to go along with another machine of the same make/model which I have had for ten or more years and stilkl works find. One thing though, without a remote it is all but useless, so never buy one without a remote.

the machine is built to provide many functions. I purchased it knowing there was no manual. It Is far TOOOO complicated to allow a casual user to be able to understand its functions.

Only negative is the DVD won't record. Tried both DVD+R and DVD-R. Plays both vcr tapes and DVDs and records vcr fine but since DVD won't record, cannot use dubbing. Keeping as plays my old home taped vcr shows and everything else works but disappointed...

Only partially works.. the vhs side doesn't work correctly..the remote that was sent doesn't work. It was said to be in good working order. Would have been nice if that were true

I order a vhs/dvd with dubbing feature they shipped very fast. Was packaged extremely well. Was exactly as described. Works great. I can now copy all my grandparents old vhs recordings to dvd. Thank you for the great machine

Nice however, I didn't realize a remote control was not included. Luckily, the controller from my old Funai player is compatible. Dvds play fine, though they only play in b&w. Contacted seller. They claim the dvd/vcr combo was checked out thoroughly. Next step...I will contact Funai.

Perfect condition as described! We have over 100 vhs home movies that we are so excited to put-on DVD's! Years & years of memories! So, so excited! Thank you!
