I bought eight of these for my deck liner. All of the pins fit easily in with a little pressure on the spring which is what you want to keep it tight anyway.

The item pictured is not the item I received. The pin did not have a spring or a cam on it. The hinge itself was not straight. While they do sell angled hinges like this, this one does not mention anything about it being angled and it actually appears to be bent rather than purposely angled, one is worse than the other. Because of the hinge being bent, the pin (which is not the one I wanted in the first place as it is not the one pictured) does not easily fit and binds up when trying to get it into the second hole. Save your time and money and do not purchase this item. Actual item received in pictures.
