I tried to use Android and Chromebook to find out what's the resolution. Total chaos. Between 1080P, 2K and 4K, I can see some difference by zooming into some detailed areas. I don't have a 4K monitor. The file sizes are also different.But Android Gallery reports that all are 1080p files. VLC reports 720P, 9 fps! I'm totally lost. And I don't believe that any of this style of 4K cam on sale are different. This is a recording from the app. It is not better on the SD card.Also, I have searched the internet and couldn't find any alternative but being locked into the Lookcam app. On Android, you can record on the phone but without motion detection nor loop recording. You can only view and record one cam at a time. You cannot log out of the app. You have to force stop it.

I've gone through about a half dozen of these cameras and this one is holding up so far. Some times it doesn't want to connect to the app (the app is NOT GOOD). All in all a good camera.

Very unreliable motion detection despite being at highest setting and still doesn’t trigger or record. How many events are actually missed?Inconsistent recording duration and file size and keeps changing from one video to the next. Unable to delete files from SD card via app: after deleting the last file all previously deleted files are restored.Manually recording video does not get stored in SD card, instead it goes to photos file which requires access to your phone’s photo album to be downloaded or via email.Remote viewing is choppy and prone to freezing.Wifi router password is stored so you don’t have to enter it again even after full reset. At least app doesn’t require personal email for it to work but requires location access just to connect to wifi network.Very responsive seller who offered to check recording settings remotely.Antenna is flexible, short, and fairly unobtrusive which is a plus.

Es un poco complicado para conectar, y tienes q estar cerca para poder ver la imagen en el teléfono, yo la quería para monitoreo de lejos no me sirvió, o no la supe trabajar, espero q lo mejoren, pero la calidad del video es buena.

The media could not be loaded.  I have probably close to a dozen of these types of cameras, this is the first time I couldn’t even use one after opening it. I tried to plug the USB connector in to charge, but I realized that I couldn’t see the micro female connector. I shook it and the connector came poking out.I’m going to pull this apart and try to resolder the connector if the pads aren’t ripped off of the PC board. I may solder on a littler jumper. Or I may just pull the image sensor off for another unit that has a bunged image sensor. I’m prettyannoyed that this is busted before I can use it.
