This water bowl is a life saver! It keeps itself full at all times! Fresh water at all times. It is quiet and never even know when it fills. We hard lined ours in the house. Which we need to add a shut off valve next to the bowl so we can clean it easier without shutting off the whole house. Something to think about if you install directly inside. This bowl works great with a hose also. We tested it out with a hose first before installing in the house. Overall this has made our life easier with having multiple dogs. We are worry free about them running out of water on a hot day. We have also had friends see this and they loved it so much they bought one right there while looking at it.

People complain about leaking use a good quality Teflon tape when putting water lines together you can use a washer hose from dish to spicket or remove larger fitting from dish and use a 1/2 inch female fitting if you hook it up this it's harder to clean it's outside so lasi do is turn off water splash water out of bowel wipe it out turn on water if it's inside I recommend every now and then to make sure nothing is blocking the float if it gets stuck open it will not shut the water off

The plastic adapter provided does not fit a standard hose. I even took the whole box to Ace Hardware and they sold me the same piece it came with, even after pointing it out. 2nd trip I got the piece, no matter how much Teflon tape I used, leaks just like the one I’m replacing. But less of a drip. And bigger bowl for 2 dogs. Take the adapter and your hose to the hardware store so the can help you. And get more Teflon tape and a hose washer.

The bowl itself is pretty good, but the unit does not come with any of the hoses or extensions you might need. There are also no instructions. If you do not have any plumbing ability you would not be able to install it.Once installed it works perfectly.

It does NOT come with the hose to connect it. After I bought one, it works great so far.

Initially this was the best idea I could think of to service my dogs water while I was away, and in this function it works well. The back works much like the tank of your toilet, it fills up just enough to keep the bowl from overflowing, and refills as your dog drinks from it.There's one major issue and that's cleaning the bowl, because you need to remove the hose to clean it (and clean it you will need to do often.) Algae and gross mold will form after a short period of time. This brings us to the second problem that comes with cleaning the bowl, this requires screwing and unscrewing your hose to a plastic inlet, and you'll need to do it tight to avoid any leaking the plastic inlet will eventually wear to the point where connecting the hose becomes impossible. Why they chose to use plastic for this is beyond me.Editted:Here's the good news! I can confirm that within a year of malfacutioning the manufacturer has processed a replacement. That being said for the cost and amount of use I've gotten out of it, it does it's job.

This is amazing. Makes my dogs and my life so much easier. They always have fresh water now and I don’t have to worry about their bowl getting low.

This water bowl was easy to install, great price for what it is. I hav a small to large breads that all drink out of it. The bad part was the extra pluming parts I have to buy to make it work. The parts where double the price of the bowl was!!! Other than that 100% satisfied!!!

So, for people like me- who have multiple dogs, and lousy muscles- it is so refreshing to have consistent water for my pups. Before I was refilling bowls several times a day, or carrying a heavy a** jug that only lasted a day or two. Now I basically only worry about the food and this little guy handles the water.I'd strongly advise getting a metal shower hose, a T splitter to run off whatever line you're using and some way to shut off the line (especially for indoor use, like me). It's a sturdy little guy, and is easily fixed to the ground or a raised platform, but if it tips or breaks when you aren't home, you are going to have one nasty flood. It fills so quickly!I have mine on a T splitter, with a shutoff switch under my kitchen sink, and I ran a heavy duty 8' metal shower hose through the cabinet and to the pup's eating area. I generally leave the switch on (and automatically filling) when I leave for work, but shut it off if I leave overnight. It fills pretty quickly, so I have the splitter set to just a trickle, so that the pups don't drink too quickly, as well as to prevent a flood if it were to break down the line somewhere. (This is totally user preference though, the full force is fine, just allows a lot of water to travel very quickly).My one real gripe, is that it fills to the very tippy top, so my pups easily (and frequently) make a mess with it. I'm fortunate to have a waterproof area set up in their meal zone, so no issues for me personally.10/10 would recommend to spaghetti armed puppy parents like myself though!

It is great not having to fill the water daily. Now I just clean it once a week which is a snap the way I have it set up. I did purchase a silicone pad for under it. Wolfhounds are very sloppy drinkers.....
