Keeping my floral snips sharp is important for my work. This tool can travel with me to weddings and events to keep my sips sharp and working perfectly.

This little doodad seems to do an excellent job of sharpening the blades on my Felco pruning shears. But it doesn’t quite reach all the parts, Though the card it was mounted on implies that I can take the shear apart for more complete sharpening, 1) the part that should fit around the main bolt actually only fits around one of the secondary bolts. And none of the bolts, using this tool or a full-sized plier, will budge by even a single degree. It’s just not going to separate. There may be a trick to it; if so, why is it a secret? Somewhere I have a spare blade. I’ll never, ever be able to use it. The Felco folks really need to get several acts together: have some good writer draft clear instructions how to maintain their tools in top condition. The quality of Felco garden tools is so excellent that they should last a long, long time - IF we can all keep them clean and sharp. Second, Felco needs to more clearly identify what model each tool is (there is no form of model information on the shear itself. (Come on, people, no one will still be able to find the packing cardboard by the time this baby starts getting dull) and what model(s) any accessories or replacement parts are compatible with. If I could actually replace the blade or unfasten it for a thorough sharpening, I’d have to give it six stars. Or seven.

Quality and quick sharpener for my Felco hand pruners. I bought the leather sheath that these fit into. Build quality is nice with nice ergonomics.

Ideal for sharpening Felco No. 2 secateurs. The carbide steel cutting edge is set to 22 degrees so there’s no guessing.

It is hard to keep the sharpener straight and it takes a lot of time to sharpen there loopers so not good to use at work were you want to make the blade sharp fast so for me this sharpener is ok to sharpen blade every week and at work use like the Corona AC 8300($10) sharpener to get a fast sharp blade and easy to use

It was time to put the edge on my Felco pruner and this tool is designed for the user to accomplish the goal. Within 5 minutes I had restored a dull blade to like new status. I immediately put the restored blade to the test which resulted in clean cuts, no bark tears or stem crushing. I have assigned this Felco sharpener as an Indispensable field tool.

great product to have on you if you are using secretares or loppers a lot. can quickly dress your edge if you feel it struggling to cut during the day. I will run this tool along the bald 5-10 times then hit it with a flat grinding stone for 5 seconds to get a fine edge. takes about 1 min to refresh edge and speeds up work a lot, as a landscaper its very appreciated

I got an all silver one which may be more difficult to see if you misplace it. I should have insisted on a red one but didn't have the energy to return and reship. Make sure you specify the red one on your order! It works well in the field and is simple to use, so that's good.
