Q: Does this work for Kia Sorento 2007?

I just bought one, taking a chance on five bucks to see if I could make this work for my 2007 Sorento. I can definitively say NO, this will not replace the key fob shell for a 2007 Sorento. While it is essentially identical externally, internally the silicon button assembly that also holds the electronics board is not quite the same size. It's close, but not the same. The original is slightly smaller. Worse, the inside of the shell does not have the round battery holder / contact assembly so even if you could fudge a little on the size of the button / board assembly there's no way to power it.
