Works really well, I like it better then the lock that came with my Samsonite suitcase. Very durable and the metal is extremely high-quality, I can tell it's going to last for years. Very happy because when traveling internationally, I've had things missing from my suitcase when I haven't bothered to use a lock. This will keep all my valuables much more secure. Completely satisfied and truly delighted with this product, well deserving of a full 5 star rating. Get this now, please don't learn your lesson the hard way of not bothering to lock up your bags! **UPDATED**The lock broke - while in the locked position, while on vacation. I was able to bend the luggage tab enough to open the bag, but the lock remains in place. Broke after maybe 10 opening and closings. I would not recommend or buy this lock.*Original Review*I received a discount for this product, but even at full price I think it is great! I used to use luggage locks all the time, but when the TSA disallowed them I stopped. I never bothered to get one again until now. This is super easy to set your own code, and it feels very sturdy and seems to be made of all metal. I like that my luggage is safe in other countries without TSA regulations but also allowable by our regulations. Nice lock at a good price.

Locks are of a solid construction, not cheap plastic, so provided good protection for my luggage. Remember, however, that non-TSA airlines are allowed to cut these open if the have reason to go into your luggage; only a few non-US airlines have the TSA lock keys.

Bought a 2 pack and one was perfect while the other was jammed. I contacted the iGotTech and gave them my order number and they responded immediately and sent a replacement in time for my trip. Love the lock love the customer service.

Great heavy duty locks for those bigger jobs than luggage zippers

I had been using a 3 digit combination PAPEAK lock on the free lockers at my gym to secure my purse, but I was getting worried that I might forget the lock or that it might break. I bought the iGotTech TravelSmart Luggage Lock to use as my primary lock that I keep in my purse, and I am now keeping the PAPEAK lock in my car as a backup. (It seems that the 4 digit combination is safer than 3.)After opening the plastic packaging, I followed the instructions to reset the combination, and the process was quick and successful. I used the lock twice at the gym so far, and it fits nicely while still giving me enough room for manipulate the number wheels and see what I am doing. I saw that some people were having trouble with the movement of the wheels, but mine all work easily.I knocked off a star because the 5 Year Guarantee regiatration website did not exist when I received the product and still does not as I write this review. Hopefully this is fixed soon.These locks definitely come in handy, and I am happy to have an extra lock around just in case my boyfriend and I ever do use our luggage again.
