I think the book does a very good job of giving an overview of the Corellian sector ...
As with every Fantasy Flight book, the art, layout and design is 5 stars. I think the book does a very good job of giving an overview of the Corellian sector and the new player options are nice, there simply aren't enough of them. I was hoping that more than 30 pages of a 144 page book would be dedicated to new player options.Chapters 1 and 2 focus on the Corellian System and Sector respectively. While this is great general info, there is a lot of space given to creatures and challenges, things I generally consider to be GM specific info. Chapter 3, the player options section is excellent with two new species and one human variant, new equipment and vehicles. My only complaint is that this section is too small. Chapter 4 is the Modular Encounter section. This provides a great resource for GMs needed a little inspiration or wanting to add some nice details to their game.Overall, this is a 5 star book for GMs but the Player Options chapter is a little thin to give a 5 start review. If you are are a GM or a player who loves the background info and detail of the Star Wars universe, than this product is for you. If you are after more player options and crunch, this would not be a great choice. For your gaming dollar, I suggest the career focused books.Game on!

Great book and soon to be quite rare
The FFG version of role playing games has come to an abrupt end. Thank Asmodee games for that. #angryface. These books will soon become very hard to find. The narrative dice based gaming system is fantastic at fleshing out playthroughs and this book is full of source material for the creative GMs who write their own campaigns.

the new species are better than most additions to the EOTE universe (except that ...
Sons of Fortune takes a broad and deep look at life in the Coriellian system. I have read the Han Solo trilogy, where he visits his home world, and this source book adds more than those three books combined. Planets are highly detailed, the new species are better than most additions to the EOTE universe (except that one is a slight adjustment to humans) and the modular adventures add a lot of fun flavor. This book could have easily been two or should have substituted more adventures and player options for planets.

Star wars the RP, got some good ideas
Playing this game is like playing missile tag. If you hit, you're going impressive damage, if they hit, they're doing impressive damage to you. No really any in-between. If you like that, great and this is a great supplement to the game.

I can rip it apart or make it sound great and then you order it
I don't know what to say here, I can rip it apart or make it sound great and then you order it, and discover its not that much.. yes FF books look great.. This one has more info than you may really need. I was planning to order all of the books they release, to have complete sets (because I go overboard like that) but I'm holding off for a while and try to pic what I buy. If you NEED to have the book, you MIGHT love it.. I want to love FF star wars, I really do. they have a lot of great artwork, but it takes more than that to make a great game. Some things seem quickly put together.. I still like you FF... I gave you 3 stars, so I didn't absolutely hate this.

One of the better Supplements so far
Suns of Fortune is one of the more useful FFG Edge of the Empire supplements so far. It covers a ton of background information on the Corellian system and also has a good selection of new weapons, ships, etc. This is definitely up to the quality of FFG's RPG line.

Great Addition to the Core Book
This book has 3 new races albit it one being the corillian variant of human, expanded background on the corillian sector of space. But for me the best part of the book are the adventure story threads which will give players and gm's alike some more starting areas and help and more depth to the campaign

Great addition
Lots of ideas and reference material for new adventures. Would recommend. No actual adventures pre made but enough information to help you with your own.
